If you play him well and the enemy team leaves you alone, yes he is the best.
Even if they don’t leave you alone, you have Houdini to go after them on top of you shooting them as they come at you. It is pretty easy to deal with even a Pheobe coming at you.
I don’t even generally go after players until late in to the game, around level 6 or 7. I make sure I keep my lane pushed out and I keep building anything that I can build and snag any Shards I can. It really is pretty incredibly easy to play as long as your other lane doesn’t just collapse.
Yeah houdini’s gonna chase them so much 
Dude man I just plant a bunch of houdinis (and that +2 to houdini buff) near my sniping area. Those who try to blitz will get destroyed.
Exactly, especially once you have the mutation where they activate 50% faster. Even ranged characters don’t usually knock them down before they go after them if they are just rounding the corner.
