Well, I play ps4 and he’s talking about some Pc player (which doesn’t matter to me because I don’t have Pc).
If it’s cloaked you won’t see it so you’ll run by it then it’ll come out of seemingly nowhere and get you

Considering the equipment available for Marquis to use regarding reload, attack damage, crit damage, attack speed and shield pen–Marquis doesn’t need a buff.
Consider that a well practiced Marquis that doesn’t miss shots and otherwise makes good timing and placement of his skills dishes out constant damage and maintains a great deal of an advantage in match by being super tiny and at range.
Also, snipers in Battleborn fall into more of a harrasser type category rather than a kill-confirmation role.

His dmg is still lackluster
His damage isn’t supposed to be through the roof. He’s a low-risk character to play as he can maintain a distance advantage. Generally the trend is that high-risk has higher damage potential and not the other way around.
Consider his passive, where with successive hits he will gain a buff for the 3rd (or second if you helix it) hit landed. If his damage was higher–then the passive would become useless on minions or really anything.
Consider also his crit damage: land those crits and you’ll being doing plenty enough damage–perhaps to the point that you’ll realise that Marquis is actually still OP.

He’s not op. And he’s is far from that. His dmg is lackluster. He needs some sort of dmg buff or they could revert the 15% dmg nerf (which should’ve never happen because he was fine) back to normal.
I understand he is a low risk character, but his dmg is pretty bad tbh. I would like to play him and be able to pick people off.
Against good stealth and melee he has to be really careful actually

Which means he needs his dmg slightly increase. Either a 5% - 10%.

while i agree that melees can hurt marquis, why does he need to be carefull with stealth characters? he has the mightiest reveal in the game
There aren’t any characters in Battleborn that pick people off from full health. Either focus down opponents as a team or pick them off when they’re low health and vulnerable.
