I am very curious since i have tried to play fresh and goof around with randoms i have been bale to find only one game in three days of trying. concerning non level 65 gameplay. do We have this little lobbies going on? ( i mean non) is matchmaking not working?
i am on epic and my region is europe level range 1-30 more or less. never in my life i have seen such a thing in bl2 i have not checked but even now if i were to open it i think i’d find a normal mode lobby.
does anyone know how much current daily players bl3 has?

Dunno how it looks “across all platforms” but according to steamcharts it’s about 10k on steam alone.
I think L1-30 is working against you these days because most people are playing at level cap (the game, while not old by any stretch, has been out over a year and a half). I kinda wonder how many people look for co-op groups to do early leveling anyway. And there are a LOT of people that play Borderlands solo, and rarely if ever group with even one other player, and that’s usually a friend, to do something like help them learn when they’re starting out, not through the matchmaking system. So, I suspect that while there are many people still playing the game, you’ll never see them. (And most of us would rather be playing the game than coming here to the forums to post, so you won’t see us here very often either.
)
I’m not up on Borderlands Discord servers, some of the Twitch streamers/YouTube content creators have them (Moxsy and Ki11erSix do, Joltzdude doesn’t, not sure who else), and there’s the one hosted by Gearbox (I found looking on the Twitch page for the Borderlands channel), but joining one might be a better way to find people to group with.

you might have misunderstood i do not care for co op, i am just wondering how many active players should a game have to not even have any matchmaking at all.
if i however ever wanted to play with people it would be during leveling, you do not want to play with me in a co op at level cap and i would not wanna play with anyone who knows what he is doing either. i know you come up with few justifications for why there might be low player count in matchmaking but my man trust me bl2 was 5 year old and it always had lobbies in every range when i played it. Bl3 being 2 year old surely can not have nothing to do with it.
