The point is that KDR is not as important in this game to determining a team’s viability. I’m not arguing that your team didn’t suck, because matchmaking was crap during Open Beta, but what I’m saying is don’t look at it with a CoD mindset. Yes, how effective your team is at killing the other enemy players is important, but so is making sure the objectives are completed, the defenses are up, and strategically targeting the enemies defenses and pushing minions and thralls to the objectives. All because someone is 2-8 doesn’t mean they sucked. If they’re playing a Miko, they could have been focusing on healing and building defenses, and not killing which is why they ended up with such a poor KDR.
In the end, looking at their KDR and believing that is the sole reason your team lost is a bad mindset for a game like this. The biggest problem I find with new players is that they come into this game with that mentality and pass up on the main objectives we need to win. As an experienced player, you should be communicating to them what they need to do win (because no PvP mode wins solely based on kills) such as making sure to kill the enemies minions and move theirs to the alter .
