Downloaded the patch, dumped I-dont-know-how-many-millions into the bank extensions (sitting at 220 now) and immediately upped to Mayhem 4…test run in Konrads Hold.

The hardcoded modifiers are a big jump from Mayhem 3.

850% more health
1000% more shield
1000% more armor

Its not really noticable, I didnt 2-hit enemies on M3 either so I took longer on M4…big deal…

I had only 2 modifers instead of the usual 5 or 6 and both seemed to be pretty moderate (2 more enemy projectiles and 25% higher are of effect radius)

So enemies turned into pure bullet sponges, not an issue for my unlimited ammo Moze, I just run around a bit longer while I whittle them down. With this kind of stats the annoited certainly live up to their name because they are fricking ANNOYING and nothing much else. Same old tricks, just waiting 90% of the time to have a fire window when they are NOT immune or spawning pillars (immune as well).

I know bad luck but Konrads Hold is notorious for those “special combos” where you end up with 3 shield annoited, one brute annoited and the rest of the enemies being tinks…yay. Took me more then half an hour to clear the area, mostly waiting in cover while the annoited jacked off with their special effects.

It took me more time to do it but it wasnt in any way “harder” at least I didnt notice an increase in enemy damage output to be honest.

The only stat that “matters” was loot drop chance which is sitting at 700% but its really the same old crap, I was playing coop with my wife and between the 10 or 12 legendaries we got there wasnt anything impressive among it.

Verdict:
Mayhem 4 alone doesnt make me want to play more. Next time I log in I ll look for the new content see how that goes. Cant really say what I expected specifically from M4 but the current implemenation feels like a let-down. I ll give this some more thought and try to describe my impression better when I m not tippsy and tired :slight_smile:
