Lmao. Yah it doesn’t seem well thought through. Still though I’d take anything over the reflect modifier 
indeed, troy on m3 in TVHM with reflect was interesting
How is troy different in TVHM from normal mode ?

On his own I don’t think he is any different on TVHM. However on TVHM shock raaks can spawn during the fight.
