I did some testing on Fuego and it lasts 4 seconds and does 12 damage per tick stacking up to 3 times for 36 damage twice a second. You can get around 11-12 seconds maximum in if you initiate with his combo so I’ll add it into the level 10 dps numbers.

Also just going off of these numbers the damage boost from level 1-10 seems to be about 35% damage for all of the characters give or take 1 point of damage.

Confirming what we know: Boldur is broken af

Not really. He may hit hard, but his swings are so slow that his melee combo comes out to a paltry 137 DPS, second lowest only to Galilea’s 134 DPS. Boldur’s brokenness comes from his skills doing much more damage than they are supposed to, and apparently Axe Mastery being even stronger than before despite having been nerfed. Boldur is only broken because he is bugged.

This is worthless testing. What matters isn’t damage. What matters is DPS.

…Very difficult indeed. Deande as an example in the same time frame of damage over 3 seconds.
(Dancing around the target continually striking, which is very fast and character specific.)

I’ll get to that after I finish getting everyone’s damage numbers because I need those before I can calculate dps…

It’s hard to say he’s a contender when even in his ult he does less then Deande with her stealth buff. Rath even beats him now and that’s with 10 stacks…

Yeah by 5. It actually surprises me the numbers are this comparable considering the nerfs. I’d of thought they would have been much worse. Those same numbers would have been near as crazy as Boldur’s a month ago.

This chart also shows exactly how much I’ve been underestimating Deande all this time.

You have to take a look at the whole character and not just their dps as Dragon still has pretty low dps at level 1 and it only gets that high through his ult and passive. His hitbox and health are terrible compared to the other characters and his whole kit is revolves around diving and doing more damage then the opponent because of his squishyness. Deande can probably kill him 1v1 even if he ults and she doesn’t. Rath can also out trade him easily without the use of their ults.

He used to be a hyper carry like Phoebe and Attikus as you see with their dps/health ratio but now he functions more like an unsafe Rath. He really should be up there with Phoebe and Attikus for damage because of his hitbox and health but instead he’s more like Rath atm.

I’m curious as to what methodology you used for this because I did my own test yesterday and I didn’t get the same numbers as you.

For my methodology, I first determined the number of times that a character completed a full combo/clip per minute by holding down the attack key (I started PvP match and used the match timer to keep time) and then determined the damage dealt by each element of that combo.

Rath’s alt-fire managed 70 attacks per minute at 99 damage each and his main fire managed 40 at 222 (55-55-55-57) damage each (the number of combos decreased to 35/min with the helix but increased the damage per combo to 279 baseline, 55-55-55-57-57), which would put his DPS at 115.5 for alt-fire, 148 for main fire, and 162.75 for Spin2Win (all with level 1 numbers).

Just going to link to this document once more. Your numbers seem to agree with it aside from El Dragon; if you can’t contact the curators of that document, it would be nice if you could create and maintain your own (or, preferably, if Gearbox maintained a similar list).

I tested that document last night and the only numbers that were correct were the damage dealt per hit/tick. None of the attack speed or DPS numbers that I tested (Alani, Mellka, Rath, and Caldarius) were correct in the least.

I’m quite curious about the data gathering methodology used.

As far as that spreadsheet goes, I believe they captured a video of the character attacking at level 1, and timed by the frame the delay between attacks, from that generating the time between attack one of the combo and attack one of the repeated combo. From there, DPS is just combo damage/combo time. Of course, none of the numbers are official (even damage could be some fractional number that we can’t actually see).

After testing he rounded a lot of numbers on there to make it easier. I stuck with the attack speed listed in the bible because I know a lot of it is correct as it was timed frame by frame then rounded as mentioned above to give more solid numbers instead of a lot of .xxx and so forth. I didn’t incorporate Spin2Win as I wanted just his base combo stats. Your free to do your own testing but i feel the above are close enough dps wise for each character. I really just wanted a chart to see how each one scaled late game compared to the others.
