Melee is just not interesting with amara

Clappy was actually the best pure melee in TPS. Athena had a good melee hybrid, but there was a bit conflict between her bleed abilities giving health regen and multiplicative damage and her kit just having really heavy shield regen that made keeping roid down a pain. Clappy got up to 700% melee damage with the melee subroutine and skills in the fragtrap tree and generally had an easier time managing roid.

You guys give me the warm and fuzzys. Anyway i think that krieg was the melee character. I will say i thought i would see a dropoff but my splash melee amara still hits with that 300/90 redundant fp, cryo stone white elephant with splash and melee damage, a plus ultra with phaseslam melee 200 after phaseslam and a rad recurring hex with cryo ase. Its a hoot. Icecubes everywhere.

It’s fun sometimes. I don’t understand the mechanics %100 Sometimes I punch a boss and they blow up. Sometimes I barely manage to move the shield down. I don’t capstone in the green anymore. Rather have the blue capstone. I do use the Face Puncher with her. Try not to overly rely on it.

Athena, now there’s a melee monster. Make it as much fun as that.

The voice of Athena is the same as Nanaba in Attack on Titan.

I have just seen Amara’s cut phasedash action skill and I have not known peace since :slight_smile: It looked so fun, oh my god I’m sure Gearbox had their reasons but I wish it wasn’t cut. It would’ve made melee Amara much more fun.
