Do you really use Love Thumper for causal mobbing? Its nova blows up a lot of barrels :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I personally don’t use the LT - other than occasionally in Pete’s Bar - I prefer managing a regular shield.
I mostly see people using it for raids.

I’m curious how much you guys use the LT?

I use it all the time for casual mobbing, but only with Gaige and Deathtrap (she’s my Bandit rep, so nobody else gets to use it). Between Shock and AAAGGHHH!, Love Thumper Novas (mine or Deathtraps), Explosive Clap, Death From Above or any other random trigger of the barrels, I’ve become a seasoned veteran at explosive barrel management. I mean it’s just part of my combat awareness now. This includes Necrophages.

Very situationally, Pete’s bar, magic slaughter and vorac are all I’ve used it on. I didn’t use the love thumper at all while getting through the op levels so I’m not very experienced with it and prefer a regular shield.

Not having to strip a shield does make deception feel really long, which can be nice but I feel too vulnerable with it outside of deception

The Love thumper, first time I use it with Zero is in TVHM in the Preserve I am around level 40 something.

Try meleeing nvhm dexi with lvl 72 gears. It would still take you 5 or so hits XD
