Melee zero in op8

If you can find it look for MoLMF (Man of Low Moral Fiber) on Youtube- a great resource for sniper or melee Zero players and really knows his stuff. I think he actually does mention waiting to the very last second in one of his vids…

that’s the problem right there. They are jack of all trades master of none, They’re vids are good in general info, but if you want advance strategy and playstyles especially in OP8 they are not the best to tune in to.

and @jefe is being modest he is a badass ninja as well.

Who would you recommend I watch?

If you want good commentary that provides walktthroughs, tips and tactics Man of Low Moral Fiber is your bet. Gothalion is also a good melee zero.

If you’re into amazing ninja gameplay with no commentary Striker, Boreshot, Altair.

I think you will also enjoy this run by Dinafay in the peak at OP8 with pure melee.

Didn’t know he ever played bl2 until recently, started watching him for destiny and he wasn’t very good so I’m surprised he was good at bl2 lol

I’ll watch this now, managed an op8 shotgun run where I bore pretty much all the tanks, Saturn’s and omgwth but I doubt I’ll manage melee

Also dotunaki’s Peak guide is extremely good :

( note - this particular run is with a Sniper build with Ninja gear but it’s still great as a Peak guide )

Oh and if you are into Time Trials, here is the best melee zero’s based on Raid boss and arena time trials made by Fakeengineergaming. I still keep bugging him to update this since Striker made a comeback and smash a lot of records, he should be no. 1 now.

One more!
There’s no doubt that currently @StrikerZidane is the best Ninja out there. There’s a lot here but this is his channel :

It looks like you got everything sorted out, I would like to argue Washburne is a solid place to practice, loaders with their extra health are good practice for making sure you get good backstabs in

I was thinking more about the EXP loaders lol

Ah okay. If you melee those with the grog and get the kill you’ll get your health back and be good to go. Similar deal with hot loaders.

I’m biased a little because it was a map I ran a lot when working through the peak to learn a new op level or new roid shield

Digipeak and bandit slaughter are my favorite maps to practice or to take out some rust.

Washburne refinery is a good map but you need to throw 2-3 sets of kunais before you can Mmf chain solidly. If you pick up that habit (throwing kunai 2-3 Times), you’ll kill the bandits with it in other areas, thus messing up your chains.

Imho, go washburne after you get the hang of which enemy types can be mmf chained easily and those that require several DBs

Honestly I’d also recommend going in barrel heavy ares to get used to it all as well (I use the love thumper as much as I do the hide so im a bit paranoid about them)
