I wish the finale trigered when both teams had a minor dif in points.
Unlimited time untill 1 minion scores, every wave gets stronger and overwhelming. 1 minion at time then 2, then 3 then 1 with extra speed, then 2, etc.
Is rly fun when none have time to hunt other ppl and ony focuse minioms.
So the consensus seems to be, a losing team has more of a chance to overcome that point deficiency and win in the end by having to get waves of minions through than by having to get a single Ultra Bot in?
If the wining team has a huge advantage is rly hard for a comeback.
If the diff are 100 points, those points translate to exp, then the strong team can advance and destroy your safe area and starve you from shards.
The only dif is hope. In the old meltdown the losing team had a hope to atleast stop waves and get some exp while slowly getting some power to fight back.
In the finale only buildables give exp, no fat minions or waves to get some exp. In this moment i have no ■■■■■■■ idea how the weaker team could get enough power to stop a super minion + players.
Thats the diff, one has hope and the other not. Of course all depends on the losing team lvl, 1 lvl behind is not so bad, 2 is difficult, 3 lose all hope to win.
Gonna bring back one of my old posts, since we’re beating the dead horses and whatnot…
@dantesolar sums it up in a much more relatable and concise way way.
Dante also brought up the lack of exp curve for the finale. If you were losing say 350-400, you still had a pretty good shot because your late gamers could bloom and still farm exp. No such thing in finale, which dead stops your leveling and forces TDM, which is the worst way to TDM.
And, as I talked about in my older post, this is talking from a relatively even match. Never mind when someone is getting stomped and have to suffer through a victory parade.
