While I agree Bouncing Balls of Death is PvP king, it’s pretty hard to pass up in PvE.
That Phoebe had half health by the way

Ah, well as I said I didn’t even use it to it’s full potential, and I’m pretty sure some of the last mortars would have hit more if she had higher health!
Oh. You see, I’m not a morning person. And I just goofed that sentence up real bad. I meant Geezer Pleaser is hard to pass up in PvE.
I don’t doubt she would have still been melted, i just wanted to make sure everybody knew about her health thing because i’m pedantic like that
But you have rifts, and Bouncy Balls will obliterate everything in sight on PvE, including the bosses![quote=“MeltedCow, post:24, topic:1563234”]

Understandable.
Rifts are destroyed rather easily in PvE (Unless it’s say, Saboteur), and Geezer Pleaser also instantly restores shield for protection from Thrall ganks. Now, I get Thrall ganks won’t happen in your Rift network. However, Geezer Pleaser allows you to at least move out of your network; you have your mortars to restore your shield for you.
eh… You can’t kill as many because the first (one or two, I suppose, out of like 5) Evolved thrall will absorb your mortars, then you have no shield as the other 3-4 try to snap your legs. If only your 950ish shield was there…
Nuh-uh! You uh, you smell bad! HAH! Did I get him, guys?
Reported.
I don’t think you need to talk about the Black Hole, I don’t, better to forget about how terrible it is.
Why do you consider Black Hole to be terrible?
Black hole isn’t terrible, it’s just one of the most telling ult’s in the game. With the notable exception that unlike the other ult’s with tells (Ambra, Shayne) it doesn’t linger afterwards or dot. It just explodes and disappears.
It’s also right up there with Thorn and Boldur for raw skill chaining dps. Using a Black Hole to pull in and following up with bouncing mortars into the cluster will wipe entire areas of the map clean.
Yeah, Black Hole is meant to just be a big pull. The damage is a nice addition.
