Would you please try these troubleshooting steps and let us know if any of them helped:

  1. Cache Clear your console using the steps here: Click Me
  2. Please try verifying the installation of the game files using the steps here: Click Me
  3. Uninstall and re-install the game: Click Me Be sure to backup your files!
  4. For connection based issues try some general network troubleshooting for your platform. PS4/XB1 or PC

If the Issue persists, please get back to us with the following info:

  • Platform:
  • Gamertag:
  • Names and number of any items you’re missing: (Include any missing Golden Keys as well)
  • Your SHiFT email address:
  • SHiFT ID (This can be found in the game while on the input SHiFT code menu. Press Y, Triangle or F1 and a hidden menu with your SHiFT ID will pop up):
  • A Video or Screenshot of the issue occurring: How to upload to your Support Ticket
  • PC Only Please provide us with your MSINFO and DXDIAG. How to upload your DXDIAG and MSINFO to your support ticket

Once we get that information we can load it into our CL4P-TP unit for processing!

So did their trouble shooting method work?

Level 50 Amara here on ps4. Went to respec and now have ZERO skill points. I can’t spec into anything and essentially have a useless max level character.

I’ve also just lost a skill at LVL 37. Anyone know if uninstalling it works? Seems a bit much

Guys I have a temporary solution that 100% works… turn off your game, turn the Internet off on your system, start the game in offline mode and respec to your desired spec… then turn the net back on after respeccing in offline mode… you will be refunded all the correct skill points.

You sure? I’ve tried something like that and when I try to respec in offline mode it still gives me only 47 instead of 48 points. Can you give a detailed step-by-step to see if I did something wrong?

Well that’s not cool… Has there been any response from the devs to acknowledge they are aware of and working on a fix for this?

yeah they replied to my ticket saying that they passed the issue onto the devs to make them aware but they have no communication with them to see how far along they are in a fix or anything. So just keep your fingers crossed that they tag it in the next patch that should be within the month.

As long as they know about it and are working on a fix.

Hope it’s not a hard bug to get resolved

This is not an hard bug fix, on the respec operation they need to do a simple math operation, actual character level - number of levels without points, and of course save the operation on the save game.

The strange thing is that the game has an hard math behind his engine and it is working, it seems perfectly, instead for this easy thing they are broken.

Same issue here! Platform is PS4, Level 50 but 47 skill points.

I’m hoping that by the first large patch, they’ll get this issue fixed along with all the other game breaking bugs. It’d be a shame if it were not fixed. A lot of people have reported it, and they are aware of the issue, so let’s hope.
