Thanks @EatThePath, that is helpful advice! The current fins are tapered in all directions, but it probably needs to be more pronounced. As @Pouk pointed out before, the bevel in the middle is cheap and needs sorting. If only the HWRM folks had been listening to your advice, maybe they would have done a better job of this Hiigaran corvette’s rear fin:

I would flatten the base of the turrets more. They look too detached.
As a rule I think they left the HW2 ship geometry unaltered across the board and only updated the textures, which worked fine for the most part, lol… but not where you just indicated.
Agreed and already corrected. I’ve also given the turrets a few more polys to make them a bit smoother.

That folding animation seems to be more practical than on the vanilla HW1 Fighters. 
I like the anim. Turrets look like they fit better too…

I have blender. I just can’t use it!
