If you don’t activate gunzerk get some won’t help activate KiPH. You could gunzerk, then drop all your guns i guess

OK, not quite what OP was suggesting, but I took my level 50 Sal with the level 40 Legendary Berserker COM (+4 skill points) and respecced thusly (plus the 1 point from the initial session):

Running with what I could transfer from other characters, which included:

  • Blockade
  • Stockpile relic +4 grenades
  • Sticky Longbow Shock Transfusion
  • Dahl slag Cartel Sniper
  • Tumtum Buffalo
  • Corrosive Dandy Chére-amie
  • Fashionable Volcano
  • DPUH

The weapon swap boost works well between the slag sniper and either the Buffalo or one of the others. The Buffalo hits pretty hard when weapon swap, last round, and critical hit combine. Fistful of hurt was very useful during the Boom’n’Bewm fight to avoid being swarmed, and the DPUH was a good “AAAAH GET THEM OFF ME” last resort (except for Scavengers and Marauders who jank around far too much.)

I figured it would be too convenient if it did, but it was the only thing I could think of to justify points in KiPH.

Get some allows you to benefit from KIPH while gunzerking. If your plan is to be out of gunzerk most of the time, I would put 1 points in get some, and I would use Gunzerk as a panic button, giving you KIPH during Gunzerk and for the cooldown afterwards.

Without get some: KIPH lasts 45 seconds.

With get some: it lasts for the 20 seconds of gunzerk + about 38 seconds of cooldown left.

Noted. I’ll probably need that when I hit the 55-60 range; might have to do a bit of skill point juggling.
