What is the team composition you dislike the most in pvp and why?
For me, it has to be an all Ranged team. Have you guys experienced how boring this comp is in Incursion? Specially in Monuments?
Most ranged characters I have played with/against are extremely defensive and don’t push. You see them laying way back to the base and afraid to get out. On various occasions you also see them shooting at 1-2 remaining opponents at the distance when the rest are dead and while your team mates are all alive.
I play only with pugs since my 3 friends stopped playing and this became a continous awful experience.
It has come to the point where on every match I wait for everyone to pick first and If I see an all ranged team then I select a melee. The drawback is I have to play extremely careful as Melee when all I have is ranged character players unable to back me up when I push lol

In my experience the melees have to sit back and fiddle their thumbs while the ranged push because the whole enemy team likes to hug their sentry and melee can’t do anything about that
Though you’ll run into these “why is no one pushing?” matches with any team comp. If your team isn’t pinned and there’s still no push, it doesn’t have anything to do with the characters picked. Even a healer can push. (Though not very effectively)
And then there’s the fact that a lot of Incursion matches are won by everyone playing defensive until the ~1 minute mark and then teams make the final push to deny the enemy from countering it. 'Tis why I prefer Meltdown…

I’m not sure about that. There are very few matches where I have won/lost because the team were playing all defensive until the last minute. In incursion there has to be a balance of both defensive and offensive playstyle to dominate your opponents.
What’s the team composition you dislike the most?
That is a intimated comp if the players are skilled.

Not saying there aren’t good Incursion matches. I just kind of dislike the time limit, is all. When you’re losing in score 100 to 0 but manage to get one tick of damage on the enemy sentry in the last 30 seconds…
And I probably dislike teams with a lot of stuns the most…

I got one for you. Oscar Mike, Benedict, Ambra, Ghalt, El Dragon. You’re forced to stay back because the kill potential is so high, but basically it gives ghalt free reign to just throw hooks until he hits one.

Ugh I would hate your team so much. Pains me to the core to have to imagine going against that. And they all have escapes except for Ghalt. Also oh my gosh I forgot about Ghalt. Replace Benedict with him.

This is the big one.
Galilea
Ghalt
Orendi
Benedict
(Insert healer, usually Alani but Miko works too).
Basically just Galilea and Ghalt or sometimes just one or the other. Orendi and Benedict are the poster children for high burst ranged DPS so I used them (I’ve seen Ernest taking Benedict’s place a lot lately) but there are substitutes that work pretty well like Mellka who can put a good wound in there to prevent a clutch heal and can easily get a bunch of crit damage in while they’re helpless.
This is the ultimate pub stomp comp. It relies entirely on the opposing team not seeing the pull coming and interceding with their own CC on Ghalt or Galilea, or just being uncoordinated enough to deal with it. Commonly found in Meltdown where split lanes will lead to a 2v3 being turned into a 1v3 in under 5 seconds, into a swing to the other lane to rinse and repeat.
It’s dull, it’s stagnant, and it’s probably the only thing that makes me put the game down in frustration, because I sure as hell am never going to be a part of it myself.

This is my favorite Composition! It’s the most devastating team to play with and against. (Assuming all the players are skilled)
Galilea and Ghalt make a deadly combo!

Mostly range is extremely boring because the whole time you have to get through something like Boldur and then maybe, maybe you can actually fight someone.
Benedict and Ernest make it even god damn worse.
Also I do the same without at least a duo, which is why I mostly just pick Ghalt now. And I’ve also been in a couple of your games picking Ghalt, the free train is real and you’re welcome to climb aboard anytime. My GT is my name if you want to play.

I got one. I just played about an hour ago against 5 Japanese where 4 were miced up. The team comp goes like this: video game skin ISIC, master skin ambra, master skin Alani, master skin boldur, and a whisky as there 5th random.
I mean why try to play the game for fun when you can just win right?

Galilea, Alani/Reyna, Miko, Ernest, Orendi
Assume all players actually know what they are doing and you will lose every time.
Bonus Annoyance: The galilea increases healing received, alani/reyna grab +shields, miko gets +healing received and +heal power, ernest stacks reload, orendi uses free shards, free build cost, and Voxis Core…GG
I miss playing ghalt. Second guy I played and mastered. Easily my most favorite.
haven’t played him since just to get all the other stuff done.
I understand. Some characters become boring after a while. I stopped playing with 6 of my main characters (Miko, Benedict, Reyna, Ernest, El dragon and Orendi) I’m still having a lot of fun with my other 3 mains (Galilea, OM and Pendles) it has to be because I always find funny things to do with each of these 3 toons within Incursion.
On topic: Today in Incursion, again a team full of ranged characters that play super defensive and were afraid to leave the base. I picked Gali but i had no backup, heal or support. I was able to push the enemies like 4 times for my team members to finally decide to come out. Even when we controlled the middle these ranged players still play defensively. The end result? 98-100. We lost.
Seriously, stop playing like this in in incursion matches. You aren’t going to win many battles that way. It just hurts your team. The enemy will find ways to penetrate your defenses and win the game if they are playing properly (balance of both offense and defense tactics)
