Build a bear kill shop.
I thought it was cute.

You’d need to use transfusion generators and recharger shields to go back to Fl4k.

Huh. Thanks for the tip man. Yeah I try to jump back to my zane and Fl4k but man is it hard with the running out of ammo and not being able to recharge shields at will

I can’t speak for everyone else but after spending a bit of time with other vault hunters, I always go back to Moze sooner or later. She’s not the absolute strongest Vault Hunter, but she’s somewhat misunderstood and it’s easy to overlook some of her hidden potential at first glance when you compare action skills and skill trees with other vault hunters.

Amara was my 2nd VH but ever since Mayhem 4 came out and gave her the Spiritual Driver COM along with it, the superiority of gun damage over any attempt at a melee build has become absurd which I find disappointing. I’ve tried Fl4k, experimented with some builds and finally settled on one I like, yet I don’t feel like I’m having that much fun as others do. Zane I can’t say much of because I’m on a co-op run with a friend atm and progressing really slowly. For whatever reasons, the other vault hunters don’t inspire or motivate me to flesh them out and explore every nuance with them, except for Moze.

It’s why I’m extra glad that she was my first choice when BL3 came out and has been my main ever since. I’m in that camp where I do want to see some great class mods for her in the future, but I hope none of them turn out to be as palpable or boredom-inducing as the Spiritual Driver or Seein’ Dead class mods.

I’m guessing you like the challenge that comes with making a good build then fine-tuning it.
That’s why I’ve never taken any God Slayer Fl4k builds seriously.

Gonna be honest, my biggest draw to Moze is that, at one point, I started outlining how I would make Gaige better if I took the time to learn to rewrite her skills. My first thought was to make her Anarchy into something truly Anarchist Inspired: more explosives. The concepts were that she and DeathTrap would have a really weird set of synergies where they, depending on skill progression, became more like eachother.

Then they dropped Moze’s skill tree and I had to abandon my ideas because: a lot of the vague things I had hoped to invent were actually being done.

So…basically. Moze is my Gaige Remix.

I loved Gaige but I just couldn’t see Moze through that spectrum, though now I have a way to think about her when I start one soon.
You can rename IB like pets right?

That’s metal AF.

Glad to see there are so many Gaige lifers in the Moze crowd.

Without Gaige, BL2 and this series would have been one of those one of purchases I enjoyed but never followed up on. Gaige reinvented how gaming at all felt to me. That’s a lot to put on a single character, sure. But between mechanics and personality, I felt home in her boots.

It’s pretty cool the Moze thread has as many posts a week as the other 3 VH’s combined.

I noticed this as well recently.

This is just a guess but I think the fact that Moze doesn’t have those definitive superpower class mods, similar to the other classes, leaves room for us to discuss all other ways to make her work well.

I noticed that the Zane forum was a lot more crowded before the Seein’ Dead com was released as well.

Same for Amara at release with a lot of discussion that dropped off after her “Uber gears” dropped.

I love the fact that us Moze mains are constantly innovating to squeeze the last drop of power and efficiency out of her.

Bear POWAH!

Today, Blight Bear made it to Wotan solo with a negative crit damage modifier. I am so proud.

If Moze ever gets buffed to that point, I’m just gonna be spamming the thread and talking to myself here.

I think it’s a mixture of that plus the fact that because there’s the option of those class mods, there’s less incentive and reason in general to further flesh out those characters and explore any hidden nuances they may possess. But there are also rare cases where certain features of characters have had no help whatsoever in the wake of recent updates and changes.

For example, I loved playing Amara as a brawler but her melee side has been disproportionately weaker since Mayhem 4 released and the irony was that even though the Spiritual Driver was broken and buffed more damage types than just gun damage, it actually allowed her melee damage potential to keep up with her guns, not including whatever numbers pop up on the screen with a Face Puncher + White Elephant + crit-swapping Unforgiven combo.

But apart from that accidental glitch, it’s now at a point where there have been no class mods or any new anointments to help out Amara’s melee angle since Mayhem 4 came out. While I still find it personally fun now and then to punch stuff in ways that would make Brick proud, it’s something you’re better off doing below Mayhem 4. Face Puncher builds don’t replicate the same feeling for me either.

Amen to that! I myself am currently working on three different builds and accumulating gear for them. Two of them are different variations of BM/DW allegiance builds. The third you could describe as something I’m ‘innovating’ to a certain degree but for reasons very different from ‘squeezing the last drop of power and efficiency out of her’ than you’d expect.
