I’ve got 400 hours into this game, mostly Advanced Story mode, and for me there hasn’t been one PvP match that was fun, the teams on Story however are fun most of the time. Making some great friends.
Instantly got sick of people being called filthy things in PvP, the absolutely worst humans have to offer.

What are you playing on? On ps4 I haven’t had very many toxic people in my games in pvp. There’s the occasional kid who thinks he’s playing COD but that’s about it
I can’t even tell you how many games I see teams like that, every player with more player kills than anyone on our team taunting after every kill, but end up losing the match. A win is a win. Be it a landslide or a last minute cheese (looking at you OM stealth and nuke) to get it.
Play for fun; play to win. If you let silly $#!t like that get to you, than they’ve already won.
Are you kidding? I always taunt even if it gets me killed, because the taunts in this game are hilarious.
Snipe an enemy with Toby? “Aw shucks you’re embarrassing me! :)”
In the middle of a firefight but someone across the map dies from my turret while I’m playing Shayne? Can’t help it, I gotta dance baby!
Also how the heck do you “try hard” in this game?! You can’t just run galimikoambra for auto win anymore and alani was never as bad as ppl griped about.
I mean I’ve gotten hatemail calling me try hard trash by a demands who kept trying to jump up and melee me when I was sniping on top of the grinder as Toby. I mean go get your teammates to pull/shoot me, stupid lol.
Only time I feel a taunt is undeserved is when I’m backing up, get stuck behind a foot-high wall and locked in by BBs who then proceed to turn me into mince. Dwarves can’t jump bro, don’t be hatin’.
Really though, try to get some buddies on your team. You can meet a load right here on the forums. I was starting to get bored with the game and the eternal TDM mindset and subsequent defeat associated with that mindset, but when I started teaming up and chatting I was having a lot more fun.
