OK, that being the case why hasn’t the support staff told me this?
I was told “you have nothing to worry about” when in actual fact as you’ve just said it isn’t even possible, surely they were aware of this?
Without seeing the whole conversation, I wouldn’t be able to comment on that. There may be things you can do that would work in your specific situation.
For example, when I got hit by the same thing (during an extremely laggy on-line co-op session) I was able to re-import my saves from the 360. That restored almost all the heads and skins apart from a couple I’d picked up in the mean time, with the added benefit of instant mule characters for extra storage.
Some folks have also managed to get the files restored from the cloud sync, but that’s not necessarily a given.
I too have just fallen victim to this. I never used Cloud saves for my 360 version. The badass ranks just reset but I also lost 44 Golden keys and, most upsetting of all, a large amount of heads and skins. I had collected a large amount of heads (including the Poker Night 2 and the recently released Community Day heads) to the point that these were the only ones missing from my collection.

I’ve submitted a ticket to Gearbox/2K so we’ll see how it goes. Personally, I would think it easier at this point to just send me an “unlock all heads/skins” code but, even if they don’t, it would be upsetting for what is probably hundreds of hours of grind to go down the toilet. I certainly wouldn’t bother grinding for heads anymore.
