I’d read some horror stories about this guy and went in as prepared as I could be. First thing that happens, I realize with horror that my Barrier doesn’t work here. I’d been planning to use a dual-spec soon, but hadn’t gotten to it yet. So, no Action Skill for me. I bust out my EMP grenade & shock rifle. He’s completely immune to electricity, because of course he is.
Ok, plan C. My recently acquired Malawan blaster SMG (fire/rads), random fire-based shotgun, and my trusty Jacobs revolver. I’m jumping around like a maniac trying to dodge while hosing him with a stream of radiation. My revolver nukes the bandits who jump in (giving me much needed health/ammo). Eventually the shield drops, and when he is staggered from radiation, I unload the shotgun & MIRV cluster grenades in his face.
Got a decent-ish Legendary electric SMG for my troubles, but mostly just satisfaction.

tbh I saw all the people saying that killavolt would be “hard” and is “broken”, but I thought he was really easy. For all wondering I didn’t use the pipebomb my first time. Also my first time I fought him on mayhem 3. Something in general, I think mayhem 3 on my lvl 50 fl4k is a joke, the game is just way to easy with his builds; all you really need is a flakker to win everything.
