Nerfs required or reverted

Since Phoebe was so massively nerfed, i want to mention other frames who should be nerfed as well

1st off is Marquis. His Snipers fire rate is entirely too high when coupled with the damage it does. He also needs his movement restricted when zooming in. 1 or the other needs to happen.

Next is Galliea. Soo… Phoebe cant have a stun but she can? Phoebes stun was a tree choice AND range limited, yet Galliea has neither of these disadvantages. “It has to be aimed”. So did Phoebes. Not to mention the damage it does. He ult also needs a nerf. Either a movement speed reduction, remove the healing or remove the damage it does. Not fair at all.

El Dragon, where do i even begin?
Massive damage output, BEFORE HIS 10 stack passive.
Attack speed is incredible.
His first skill is entirely too fast as well astravels to far.
Theres 2 more but i cant rember them.

Miko actually needs a buff to her Ult, it has zero durability, survives for less than 2 seconds.

Everyone except Miko is the exact reason i was against nerfs until we saw more of the cast. Now we got this wrestler who’s the mvp even on the losing team, this semi auto sniper that hits like a tank and this alternative Phoebe. And yes i have used each character mentioned. Imo these nerfs seriously need to happen or revert the nerfed characters, all of them. Only nerf i agree with is the gear nerf.

Its irrelevant but my level is 25. I just fought a Deande with El Dragon and she was even a threat. Like, at all.

I agree with Galliea. Saw one with permanent health regen on. Couldn’t kill em. The other one no one is talking about is Ambra. Not only does she deal an insane amout of damage but she heals herself for incredible amounts. She doesn’t have to aim her dage dealer. She just jumps around and heals and kills. Her heal/kill beam goes through shields. Even isics wards. So shields don’t work against her. My buddy uses her so I know her over powerness. He even admits to it. Calls her easy street. It’s almost custom for him to go 20-0 or maybe a death or too. Lead the team in heals and damage dealt, kills minions. Everything. Most OP character that no one talks about oddly enough.

Though I am still waiting for PC Beta access, I can attest to adjusting Galilea based on everything I’ve seen from PS4 streamers, primarily ActaBunniFooFoo, who has played Incusrion non-stop with Galilea and has yet to lose a game.

During the CTT I thought that the nerf to Phoebe was far too preemptive, especially in the face of other major balance issues and bugs that were far more pressing, such as Heal stacking on Miko. But, maybe it was simply seen as an opportunity for GBX to see how quickly/easily a hotfix could be pushed out.

Galilea on the other hand is already proving to be much more formidable than a pre-nerf Phoebe, with far more interplay with her health regen and shielding, a more useful secondary, arguably better ultimate (barring Phoebe’s helix mutation), and a ranged stun that doesn’t have the caveat of proc’ing off the three hit combo of your primary. Galilea is an absolute powerhouse, and were she available in the CTT, I would bet that she’d be the one hit by a nerf, while Phoebe would have remained the weaker pseudo-Galilea.

One concern is the effect nerfs/buffs/adjustments will have not only on competitive multiplayer, but campaign as well. In some cases, certain choices in the Helix menu seem obvious splits between “meant for multiplayer” vs “meant for campaign” choices. Other times, the choices are made typically based on how a match unfolds, or the team composition you are up against. At any rate, I hope the devs keep in mind that changes that affect a characters interactions in PvP will also affect performance in campaign missions.

Whoever moved my thread, this isnt just about Marquis, so id appreciate it if you put it back in general or in the actual correct place.

I agree on both Gali and El Dragon. Ambra’s staff drain also needs a nerf. I hope you weren’t that El Dragon beating down my Ambra :stuck_out_tongue:

Galilea seems impossible to kill for the amount of damage she puts out, in my opinion.

El drago has good damage output yes, but he is very weak so he is balanced in my eyes. El drago who you havent already fed is pretty easy 1v1 becouse he is planned to be assassin type. In good hands devastating, but if not ; he is easy exp.

A good Galilea can absolutely steam roll entire teams. She is a ‘tank’ who does more damage than attackers, and that’s insane.(Also I’m guessing Phoebe’s stun was where the silence is in her kit? lol but Galilea can flick you in the calf with her shield and have her way with you for eight years and that’s more balanced).

Also, Ambra. I’m pretty sure I’ve complained about Ambra at least once a day the past few days, so I’ll be really quick(not to mention I already made a thread about it a day or two ago). The way her beam sticks to you is hilarious when you compare it to Miko’s heal beam. If you so much as cough while healing someone as Miko, you will start healing a minion on the opposite side of the map. But Ambra’s beam will track you almost regardless of where you go if you don’t break line of sight. If she tethers you, without escapes you must fight her, otherwise the odds are strong she will kill you and move on with her day.

In regards to Galilea, I main her and she could use a bit of a nerf in the sense of her basic attack could do less damage, I’d say in the range of -20%. Her other abilities are honestly fine since she is supposed to be a support tank. Melee heavy group? Roll full health regen/slow/vortex desecrate build. Enemy team is caster? silence/vortex/+movement speed.

I just hit level 8 with her and I believe its level 7 that she unlocks a mutation that increases her attack speed up to 35% at full corruption. Absolutely disgusting with her current base damage, especially if the other team is mostly melee. I went 19-1 on a melee heavy team last night. I feel she is in the right spot as an annoying support/harassing tank ability wise. She just needs that base damage reduced by a fair bit.

Galilea is someone you are supposed to focus when she pushes or your team gets locked down. A good benedict/orendi can wreck her though. Especially benedict, who I loooooove and is my second choice to play for his mobility.

Edit: A mutation I think she can do without is the +30% movement speed on shield throw hit. It makes the BBs who counter her have incredibly hard time getting away. Unless you are benedict.

I also think people would understand her more if they played her a bit and learned her weaknesses that way they know how to counter her. A lot of people are impatient and try to run in face first on her, which is bad. Unless you are good with Rath you are going to have a bad time. When I’m playing as Gally and I see Marquis/Thorn in the distance, I’m not going to rush them in a straight line. Thats just stupid, I’d get melted.

Honestly, the main issue with Galilea is her stun time on her Shield throw. I think it should be reduced from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Might not seem like much, but in a fast paced game like this, it would make a huge difference.
