a few years ago randy mentioned on twitter that he was interested in making another bia title but seeing if another studio was interested in doing it. we know now that a new bia is indeed coming but we also know that 90% of gearbox is working on borderlands 3. if you go on gearbox quebecs twitter they mention their “colleagues ubisoft” in a tweet. so we know this new studio in quebec is working with ubisoft with something. also i may have heard wrong but randy did mention acting as publishers instead of developers for the new bia title in that interview with geoff. i think that furthers my claim that the texas team is not working on it

now i see this older thread that really confirms it: Gearbox Quebec posted an interesting picture on their twitter account

so guys whats your hopes for bia. i really think they might make a great bia

That about Ubisoft colleagues is simply a reference because that company opened a study in Quebec. Ubisoft will no longer work with Gearbox; in fact it is this one who will advertise for itself the next BiA.

The odds are high that GBX Quebec is after BiA. In fact, I remember when IGN asked Randy Pitchford that he answered something else xD Whatever it is, let’s hope that the Quebec study announce during the year’s end his project, as planned a year ago.
