I’ve played Salvador for all of my time on bl2, and I’ve wanted to start on a different character. I was wondering which one I should start with, and why I should do. Thanks for the help

I was in your position at one point as Sally was the only character I used for a very long time. My best advice would be to try all the characters out up to a certain point in the story. Maybe up until you save Lilith and get feel for all of them. You may be surprised and find a new favorite along the way.

For a complete change of pace try melee Zero. For an insane change of pace try Krieg.

At the very least, if you get them to Sanctuary and find that you don’t like them, you’ve got your hands on a cheap mule.
Maya. Outstanding dps once you get Cloud Kill, excellent survivability, and phaselock is just an all around great action skill.

Salvadore is easy mode. In order of difficulty of mastery, I’d say
