Was just curious with the addition of the new class tree, was wondering if there is or will be class mods to improve on it like the other trees have.

There is one legendary class mod for each of the new skill trees, which can only be found in arms race.

I’ve only done the arms race 2 times, so i only noticed few different grenades. Figured something might be there that i missed. But feel so strange without my robot.

I take it it’s just random drops from enemies or that boss at the end?

I’ve found the boss at the end has a higher drop rate chance, but I’ve found the new class mods in chests and dropped by badasses.

Yeah, i noticed first time I made it through that the boss dropped stuff. One being something about a grenade that dropped a healing pool. I got a high luck chance, so I’ll give it several runs and hope for the best. Was hoping abilities worked the first time I went in

Behold! (Purple text = class mod. Zane on top left, Fl4k on bottom left, Moze on bottom right, Amara on top right)
The coms seem to be a lot rarer then all the other legendaries.
Also, the Fl4k one is really bad.

I mostly use FL4K, the Amara and then Zane. I do still want the class mod, but like how bad is it? Cause my combo for the robot is missiles and radiation. Not sure if the mod would benefit me or at least give a small boost.

afaik, FL4K’s new com is still bugged and will cause your pet to attack you/itself. It’s essentially unusable in this state.

IIRC, they fixed the pet attacking you. Now it does absolutely nothing.

Well, feel like it’s gonna be a while before I can land the items from this place. It’s like a hit/miss with surviving. But got new weapons, which is nice. Not so much luck on class mods

Ultimately, will we be getting more COMs that hit the purple tree (entirely like these ones, or even other rarities that may also tap other trees)? I can’t imagine we wouldn’t.

@Adabiviak I kind of feel like they probably are done with new (i.e., additional) COMs? But that’s just my gut.

I think they almost certainly are NOT done buffing/nerfing/whatever-ing the existing legendary COMs though. Again, just my general gut feeling and having watched past BL games (as many of us here have).

Honestly, if they’d just make about 50% of the legendary COMs not suck, I would consider that a huge win. No new COMs needed! :rofl:

thing is
they cant just release new 4th tree classmods in other content / dlc 6 as that would mean you cant get full value out of the dlc you just bought, you HAVE to buy both

they should do another new event / takedown and add it to that, also add a second mod for the basic trees
it is kinda ass if they release blocked content,
