Vampyr doesn’t allow me to constantly heal because my grenade doesn’t regen that quick. I got MoD and Redistribution max with Blast Master. It can’t keep up like Sapper. For example if I stand in the middle and fight Wotan with just Vampyr - it’s guaranteed I will go down even if I throw all my grenades. But with Sapper, bring all the ads and Wotan and I’ll be standing in the mid and not die.
Also I go with Blue Tree for the Short Fuse and Scourge on top of the Sapper/Redistributor.
Edit: If I am not running True Takedown, Sapper isn’t needed. I would go with Blast Master and rely on Vampyr and Stop Gap in Shaft. For the rest of the game content ie story, Moze doesn’t need Sapper and Vampyr.
Are u using a cloning maddening tracker cuz I use one and have no problem with my healing. But honestly test out doing sor tree it’s a game changer gives u even more survivability and dmg than blue tree

Yep I had the lvl 50, the lvl 53, and lvl 57. None of my Mozes (I got multiple) can constantly heal with Vampyr against True Takedown Wotan
Edit: I compared my BT/GT to my SoR/GT, the BT one does more damage. I created multiple Mozes so I can compare without respec’ng. I ran them on Shaft, Proving Grounds, and Takedown. The BT hands down does the most damage and survivability is acceptable (except True Takedown)
That’s odd since well moze builds that dont use bloodletter and have health gate dont really have a problem with it maybe ur spamming nades to fast to btw

Yeah, the new class mod is super easy to use and rewards tactically unsound gameplay like that. Basically it’s “EZ mode” for Moze.

Well I’ve run that skill tree before. As I mentioned I keep multiple Moze with different builds. That one you mentioned doesn’t fit with my playstyle but I have it and run it from time to time to test things.

Whether it’s easy mode or not is not a concern. We can always run with a different com. At least Moze players have good alternatives unlike Zane where Seein’ Dead seems to be the most logical and ez mode choice.
Edif: I wouldn’t use Sapper for everything else other than True Takedown.
It should be, or at least it is for me. Seein’ Dead trivializes Zane gameplay. Sapper, though not as good as Seein’ Dead, does the same thing. We went from people complaining all the time about Moze survivability in regular mobbing to face-tanking Wotan and all his adds.

Take your own advice. I disagree with you on many things so it doesn’t surprise me that this is also on that list.
Tbh you would face tank as moze already since ur chucking grenades and having health gate save u unless you run bloodletter then u atleast run for missiles or hop in mech
Like @zwangzug, that hasn’t been my experience at least for the Wotan fight. In the rest of the game, sure, fair enough.
Maybe unlucky when heals come in since when ur at 50%hp or higher u cant be downed and ur like immune from dmg for a little bit and then grenades heal you back up. Just cant spam grenades gotta space them out a little but so you dont run out

Well that’s not accurate. If I run Blast Master for example in Fervor Proving Grounds, it trivializes the game for me so easily compare to my Sapper.
With Sapper you lose a lot of damage compare to Blast Master.
Read the posts on these forums and listen to people complain about how weak Moze is in Twitch chat. It is quite accurate, I can assure you. That the sentiment is being expressed, that is. Like you, I disagree with the sentiment, but that doesn’t change that other people feel that way.

I agree with the overall sentiment about her since I also play the other VHs. My experience with other VHs are not as vast as with Moze but in my runs with TD, Zane and Amara are still the king and queen.
I hope you’re not conflating “Moze is weaker than Amara and Zane” and “Moze is weak” though. Many people do that. Anyway, I’ll stop since we’re derailing the discussions (the Sapper COM).

My sentiment applies to Takedown. Her survivability (minus the Sapper) is more challenging than Zane and Amara.
The rest of the game content (other than TD, my Moze is stronger than all the Zane’s and Amara I’ve run with. That I am confident with that.
