Correct. They have to be automatic. I disagree with the Developer decision here tho. This gun effect should mechanically be designed like consecutive hits anointments honestly. It would make more sense and allow players to spam any weapon as long as they’re consistently spamming it. Maggie, hellwalker, anarchy, etc could all be used without requiring the player to go back to grenade focused builds. If the idea is to ā€œgive moze varietyā€ this mod does a poor job at it.

That said, I’m gonna try to get one and give it a good college try to make it work for me. If it’s not fun, I’ma go back to mindsweeper which seems to give the biggest damage output while still allowing weapon swapping.

Used the Sapper for one True Takedown and i instantly switched back to Green Monster.

You don’t like it in True TD?

Dang, this really wrecks. I one shot almost everyone in Fervor Proving Grounds M4. No need to worry about healing lol

There’s situations where no amount of healing will save you. The best defence is a good offence. :wink:

I honestly think GBX is trolling us, all I’m getting are Fl4ks class mod playing as moze , including 3 times in a row. Wth???

They just made a mistake with the drop weighting. If you want to get Sappers you should run it with Fl4k.

Finally got one but with the worst modifiers ever. Useless.

At least now I know its possible to get with moze at least

Yeah I got only 1 in all my farming with Moze (a lot) and I got about 10+ with Fl4k in one day of casual playthrough and just running around.

Not fully on topic, but I’m so happy that the Sapper is better than most people thought before release. Should be a lesson to not preemptively judge something or someone :wink:

To be fair, most people knew it would work well. It’s just extremely restrictive and boring to use. It makes you invincible if you just hold the trigger down with Forge which was unexpected. But the problem people have wasn’t how effective it’d be.

I thought it was gonna be super bad when I thought it capped at 12% but since it’s actually uncapped it’s a lot stronger.

I saw the COM and thought it would be good. It’s what many have been asking for months. Moze has never had an issue with damage, it was always sustain.
