I like this a lot. Let me explore it a bit.

Not one thing? Really?

In this case, just use the navigation tool at the bottom right (the proper name is escaping me, but it’s blue or bright green). Click “bottom” and away you go.

Unless I’m misunderstanding you somehow, this is not accurate. The “new” threads function goes back as far as somone is willing to scan. The same is true with search. If it’s on the forums and you have the proper permissions to view it, it’s there.

Also, as stated above, the email problem is a simple adjustment in your preferences.

There is still help available. If it’s actual in-game help or advice you need, many of the awesome community members that created guides are still here and have moved those guides over to the new forums. If you need help with support or other issues, you’re welcome to contact me anytime or one of our other fine devs or mods and we’ll get you taken care of!

There’s a lot of potential in this forum platform and that’s why we switched to it. In the long run, it’s going to allow us to give the community (yourself included) a better overall experience. And isn’t that what it’s all about? Granted, it’s a big change and no one likes change, but give it an honest and fair chance and I think you’ll end up agreeing that it was the right move.

Is there a time limit on when you can edit posts?

Because I went to add something to my Lame Art Thread, and it wouldnt let me edit the original post. All I could do was bookmark or FLag it (why I would do that to my own post I have no idea). I added something a few weeks ago, so is there a cut-off or is it just a bug?

Because thats an issue for people making guides and such, if a new DLC comes out and they want to add more info, they cant.
And I have one of the more powerful computers that exist… 4.4 ghz i7 and even that gets slowed down to a crawl trying to scroll down a page of 30+ replies on this site.

What in the name of heck possessed you people to switch to this bloated pile of crap forum software?
Performance has been fine for me across multiple computers and laptops. Your performance issues are incredibly unlikely to be related to your hardware potential as your web environment is encapsulated within the rendering engine used by your browser.

I recommend posting the type and version of your browser, and possibly your OS as well to see if anyone else is having any issues.

Yeah that’s not the forums fault, I can make it through 100(0)s of posts laden with gifs on a computer much less powerful than yours.

Is your internet fast?

I brought this issue to Joes attention last week when Temet found he couldn’t edit the OP of the RTT.

@joekgbx Is there any answer to this yet or better yet, a fix? Soon all these guide makers will be getting pretty frustrated I think…

Let me ping CH today and check in.

@Kitty_Jo- can you update our PMs on the subject so I can review again? IOW, just write anything in the thread and then send it to me. Thx!

EDIT: scratch that, found the setting and adjusted. @Mr_Sandman / @TemetNosce, feel free to test and update here. You should be able to edit these posts now.

75 Mbps Fios fiber optic, doesn’t get a whole lot faster for residential

Standard google chrome accelerated with the gpu in windows 7, and a pair of massively overclocked gtx 470’s at the moment.

Any time the site loads a thread with more than 20+ replies all expanded on the same page it starts bogging down and gets “stuck” unable to scroll.

I can view blog websites or even for example 6 days worth of Imgur front page posts and have no issues, but whatever they did to this site is messing it up.

Anyway I’m about to unsubscribe to this thread folks. This new site is kind of stupid anyway, and totally unnecessary when we had fully functional (and nice) forums before. So… I’m probably out of here after this post.

@Kitty_Jo , @joekgbx Editing the RTT worked fine, seems you got it fixed. Thanks.

Wooo!

And such.

Uh, this place looks really strange right now.

Nevermind, it fixed itself apparently.

suddenlink offers 150mbps here…i dropped it down to 50 bc it was over kill. But I’ve NEVER had an issue with the scrolling on these forums, with my lil ol’ gtx 650.

@jeffybug @joekgbx Any news from about allowing me to assume my old username? It’s been more than a month since you said you’d check into it.

@public- sorry about that! it was saying that your username was already in use, yes?

Yes, exactly. Thanks for getting back to me.

I’m really hating the “New” tab, I have to dismiss messages everytime I log on. Is there a way to do a preference option or turn it off altogether?

It doesn’t seem like there is. You could ignore the whole new tab though.

Sorry @daerksiea, but what do you mean by “messages”?
