@VaultHunter101 Did you find that today’s patch affected the game’s Xbone performance? Did you try it with Mayhem off (or Mayhem 11 I guess)? Did it make a difference with or without events active? Just curious. I haven’t played (yet) and I am not sure I am going to for a while, just wondering about game performance on the crappier Xbone if the current-gen consoles are that bad.
On PC here, and had some terrible performance issues with the new patch. Like, barely playable the stuttering was so bad. Even when the stuttering wasn’t happening the game was sluggish and felt like 30fps or something.
Turned out it completely knocked my graphics settings out of whack. It messed with vsync, had me in windowed mode, etc. I set everything back to how I had it and it’s mostly cleared up. It doesn’t seem quite as smooth as it was before the patch but maybe I’m just being oversensitive to every little stutter and hitch now. So if you’re on PC and having issues, double check your video settings.
had this issue with ps4. my only fix was to restart the game and pray. that works half the time.
yes me too
i use xbox series x too lag
i am single-player game only
Single player also, lags even starting new game with no gear.
Hopefully with this many people having the issue they can fix it soon. I’m probably gonna hold off and continue with Yakuza 0 because this sudden stutter/lag in the middle of fights is no good.
I could try reinstalling it, but I doubt it will fix anything.
Same problem here xbox sx-Before update, everything was extra smooth and now these random freezes ruin the whole magical experience!
We are looking forward a fast fix!
Same issue here on Series X. Random freezes lasting as long as 3 seconds. Game takes much longer to load at the beginning. I’ve tried turning off crossplay and other new features, it makes no difference. Game was buttery smooth before this latest patch, now it’s unplayable.
It’s being investigated.
Cross those fingers
It’s really good that nowadays you can get in contact with devs this fast , hopefully a fix is soon because I would consider this unplayable now .
Seriously , Why GB is not testing the update/patch before releasing?
Same here, they changed all my settings and everything was looking muddy and I realized it was their motion blur. Don’t know why a patch would overwrite my graphics settings. I feel like there was an A-team that created the base game, and now we’re at a C-team that handles the fixes from now on, while the A and B teams work on TTWL.
Here’s a clip of mine. I sent it on Twitter too.
It’s near the end of the clip.
I’m on PS5 and I’m sure the graphics settings have been altered post patch. Everything looks washed out now. Still runs silky though.
Original XB1 and yes, I did have significantly more video freezes than normal in active fighting. Fortunately all relatively short (< 1-2 s) and the game kept running (audio etc), but not ideal. That’s Moze/IB on MH2, Cartels active, in heavy traffic, with corrosion infused enemies as one modifier.
Just started brand new character lvl 1 as an experiment and stuttering happens just doing the opening with claptrap. For me unplayable on my Xbox series X.
Since this games release it has never been properly fixed to run on either last gen consoles or the new gen consoles for that matter. Just take it as a learning lesson when it comes to future products from @GBX. Some of us have been hoping for a proper fix for consoles and maybe, just maybe with this issue being as widespread as it is a proper fix will come but not holding my breath either.
Hopefully it’s sooner than later, but it needs to be certified by MS again too, so who knows how long it can take. For now I’ll continue on, but man it sucks.
After the update I have constant 1 to 3 second frame drop on my xbox X series. Before the update it played smooth with no problems. It’s really bad now in the battles. When are you going to fix it?
Before releasing the patch, developers should test it. Absurd this with customers.Even in the sanctuary there are dropped frames. how absurd
