Slag bouncing betty/biddy. Throw one or two out before you rampage.
What @Gulfwulf said. I like to start every mob with two or three in different directions and then another one or two if the purple paint fades before everything is dead. Generally, Bloodbath+Bloodsplosion chains litter the ground with nades so running out doesn’t happen often, if at all. If you respec to Release the Beast with no points for Bloodlust you can always pack a Tiny Tina nade for regen in the downtimes.
Slag Transfusions with any fuse time serve this purpose nicely.
Why are you using slag? it isn’t necessary til UVHM.
'Cause it’s purple…and because it tastes like piss and nachos.
Just started true and want to be in the habit.
I guess one cool thing about Mania w/ eventually Bloodlust is that I dont have to focus to much on what weapons to use, at least while leveling.
Does Mania have an internal cooldown of how often it can proc?
Yeah not having to farm for gear every few levels is why I love it so much.
Not sure what you mean by Mania having a cooldown? ^^
Lmao yeah, your health bar.
If you respecced for Release the Beast cooldown becomes a non-issue for the most part. Regular cooldown is long, something like 2 minutes, but it gets sped up by taking damage (you can increase the amount it gets shortened with Fuel the Rampage [I think that’s what the skill is called]). With RtB you wait until your health is 33% (when your health bar starts flashing and you see the !) to use it, and then when it’s over you have another ready to go. (I’m assuming by mania having a cooldown you’re talking about Buzz Axe Rampage)
Yeah. I was thinking that ANYTIME my healthbar got below 33% I could activate Mania but now that Ive played with a bit, I can see where that would be stupidly, grossly, ridiculously over-powered.
As a Melee Krieg fanboy I’d tell you to aim for Release the Beast. The game will be a bit tricky but once you spec into Release the Beast the game becomes a cakewalk. Then focus on the Bloodlust tree to get Bloodsplosion. And once you get Bloodsplosion you’ll be able to farm Pyro Pete and get some sweet loot out of him.
Yup. Already found the beauty of RtB and Bloodsplosion. I havent been worrying much about guns. Just keeping my Rough Rider and such close to level. I do carry a DPUH and a few other goodies. Also Explosive Fastball FTW since my Gaige partner slags everything. She doesnt summon Deathtrap much no more lol she summons me. Favorite character by a stretch.
Thanks for all the input. Kriege for life!
I could also give you this advice : if you’re playing solo and you have no one to slag enemies for you then try to get yourself a Slag Bouncing Betty. Doesn’t matter what level, rarity or manufacturer it is : as long as it has a short fuse time (<1s ideally) and a decent delivery system (aim for a Longbow or Lobbed one, avoid Rubberized).
It’s also relatively easy to farm for : just farm vending machines and you’ll find one quite fast.
Here’s the one I use on my OP8 Melee Krieg, I found it in a vending machine :
Ive got a selection of low level slag bouncing biddys, etc bc I heard low level was better not to slag yourself?
However, I do have good high level ones as well.
Low level is better because high level ones have the tendency to kill you. The slag chance remains the same.
What Lex said. You want it for the slag, not the damage.
Also even OP8 Betties won’t kill you, I’m using an OP8 one myself and it never killed me even once.
So kinda random but I play splitscreen with my daughter(shes REALLY good btw) and she playing Gaige.
The problem we’re running into is Im Bloodsploding and killing everything and she not really getting a chance to kill(and therefore build Anarchy)
Can anyone recommend a good Gaige build so she can keep pace?..or do we just have a bad pairing of characters?
We’re both 72 btw.
Thanks.
I can tell you that as a melee Zer0 player who’s played with a Bloodsplosion Krieg, it’s no fun. His solution was to play Maya
The easy solution is to cap at FtB and Blood Bath. As long as Bloodsplosion exists, your co-op partner will never really be able to predict which target is a good target unless you divide the map.
Just tell her to get a Norfleet and a Legendary Anarchist, I guess. xD
