Forjack probably Developments but heās not breaking eos thresholds.
I do remember getting Crits before his eye turns into the rectangular hole, I dont remember doing anything special but it has happened.

(Sad face) I thought you had an idea for Jack to bypass EOSā phases.
Cool. If you find out the specifics just post it.
Also as soon as EOS says āLook into my eye, and perish!ā heās critable even though his crit spot isnāt showing yet. So it might be that.

To the Jack tangent, Jack + Flayer will take them both down fast. MIP would improve times. Best I have ever done (not really timing it past action skill depleting) is about 30-35 seconds on Eclipse, and about a minute or two for EOS (including time it takes to go through the phases) with zero starting MIP. The Flayer will melt away shields and HP(sponsored by maliwan shock, but canāt quite get a phase bypass, even if I am able to drop his health almost instantly. The laser disker with a sponsored by vladof will make short work of EOS after the shields drop too, but not nearly as fast as the flayer. Never tried with rocket launchers though. I have been doing the runs with 0 starting MIP, pretty much because I donāt want to take the time to stack them, and with 999 it would almost be a given.
This is with 5 company man, docs flayer with decent, but not great parts, and a CEO COM.
I am also probably a mediocre player at best, so throwin this out there as more of something to build off than anything else.
I did a few runs using a Projection COM and a shock development with L4A4 too. My trigger finger is faster than any of the ROF buffs I can get, so the fights dragged on a little more.

If youāre going jakobs route the quad is more dps.

Agreed, but even with a 6 in AA, ammo ends up being an issue. Taking time to find ammo takes away from the over all kill time, and I am bone dry before the end of the fight otherwise

oh thats odd im usually fine on ammo with just a projection.

Also, my flayer out-damages the base damage of just about every quad I have come accross. I have a Rustlers flayer too that flat out out performs all quads ive come across, but I seem to do better with the docs than the rustlers.
I am also not the best player in the world. If I paid more attention to when my kill skills are active, ammo would likely be less of an issue. I dont have the same issue with a Development, but the fight drags on a bit longer with it.

My Athena does it just under 2 minutes, so the 1 minute thing isnāt even possible.
Never happened with me when I do the kill Deputy Jack.
What you have to look forward to if you find one.

I certainly love a Loop Quad. Zer0 recoil with five shots per burst at reduced ammo is just nuts but would it serve āJackā well for a speedy kill? Overload is quite intimidating too but there are more ammo issues and youāll have to throw many grenades to keep the glitch active.

I was just chipping in on @maxageddonās and @Hoyle4ās conversation. But I do enjoy killing Eclipse & EOS with Loop/Overload Quads and Loop Developments alike. I havenāt really tried to optimize a Jack speed kill so I wouldnāt know, but both are popular options. And with the Overload glitch, the kickback sucks but its worth it, and when you have 11/5 in Absolute Advantage it doesnāt really matter if the gun consumes 4 ammo or 5. And when I raid with the Quad I donāt even worry about preserving glitches.
All this assuming your using a CEO or a Projection Com. But he said he was.
And Jack is my 2nd favorite character in TPS, only recently beat by Athena.
I am just adding my 2 cents.
Still, even with 11/5 AA itās very easy to unexpectedly lose the bonus. Assuming the Quad has 10 mag it takes just three shots with any Just Compensation bonus to empty it. I suppose the glitched mag size is added after skill based mag bonuses? Otherwise youād have 16 at full bonus which you donāt, or at least thatās my experience.
Sometimes it can take ages and sometimes it happens so fast you donāt what happened especially because it suffers no FR penalty. Iāve lost quite a few Overloads because of that already. 12% isnāt that high but itās not that low either. Krieg players can attest to that.

When it comes to speed kills or even mobbing with a glitched Quad I donāt fret over losing a glitch b/c theyāre hard to keep. On a looped Torgue Rifle or Hyperion Thinking its more reasonable since they have big mags and their type of loop glitch refunds part of your mag on kill. And you can wait until everyone is dead to throw a couple grenades to get a full mag.
The thread on the different types of loops juts in case you didnāt know.
- With 5/5 in JC and 5/10 grenades you have a 13 mag. Thatās 4 shots and you arenāt low enough for enemies to drop grenades to screw up your mag size.
- The glitch mag is considered the base, so it comes before JC.
- And having to have that 12% chance happen 4 times ends up being a pretty low chance to empty your mag. And even lower with a loop glitch.
So Iād say enjoy your Quad glitches while you have them and donāt try to Marginal Benefit spam to keep it until youāre out of combat.
StV FTW
, I love melee Krieg.<3
Ok, thatās a good point.
I meant with the Overload glitch. At 5/5 with 0 grenades you should get 60% mag bonus so the Quad I got with 10 mag by default should reach 16 but it doesnāt. It stops at 15 despite 160% being a perfectly round number so it would always be three shots if the mag size increase by at least one. Unless you have a better grip of course, especially the Jakobs grip I guess. Mine got the Bandit grip.

Thatās weird. Iāll check it out. But I canāt imagine trying to maintain zero grenades all the time b/c of ammo drops.
The amateur math geek in me screams because of that oddity. But yes, maintaining 0 grenades is difficult which also invalidates most 4 Overloaded Quad shots (with the Jakobs Grip of course).
The mag size increases at 2, 4, 5, 7 and 9 missing grenades which seems pretty normal for the mag size. I do retract my earlier statement about the glitch bonus being added after the skill bonus but I still do not understand why this happens.

Then its likely a little higher for me. The transition phases add the most time, each health/shield phase doesnāt last very long, especially the last phase with the bonus damage to enemy health under 40%. Just start my action skill when EOS starts to phase back in, jump to another platform to kill a jack, and go to town. EOS health goes down like lightening. Eclipse is the bigger pain. I canāt consistently shred him within one action skill outing. Always in under 2, but some times he jumps around to much to keep his crit spot in my sights on the first go.
ooooooooooo
That certainly outclasses my flayer. My Docās has about the same stats as your pic, but is a bandit grip. My Rustlers flayer hits about the same (per pellet) as the one you have pictured with a torgue grip., but still wouldnāt out damage the quad displayed.
I also apparently need to pay more attention to my ammo consumption, haha.
I only really use the CEO over the projection because im not huge on hyperion weaponry compared to my comfort with jakobs. I also tend to not bother with grenades with Jack, so I didnt spec into any skills that rely on them.
or in my case, just not paying attention to when my kill skills were activated in the first place. Now, I am going to have to take a break from building up the Nisha I started the other week to repeatedly slaughtering EOS and Eclipse again. See what happens when I actually pay attention. Weāll see how this one goes

Yeah its just a glitch
with JC and not glitch weapons, I did my Quad w/ Jacobs grip, your Quad from āFinds of the Dayā, and a Maggie to use as an example at the end.
Iāll mention @Jeffybug just cause. Iām on PC.

Interesting, another mystery solved! Quite curious why this happens. My glitched shock Tediore Railgun has the expected mag size for one. Which is pretty awesome.
Same, happens way more often than I want to admit.

Sometimes I even use the Projection Com with the Quad for raiding. The accuracy and crit damage it worth the loss in base damage sometimes.
JC isnāt really a grenade base skill per say. And with some weapons itās worth it.
Yeah that will get 'cha.
