VERY nice! Glad to see you using pitchforks and badaboom’s to great effect! If you weren’t playing on x360, i would recommend the mongol as well, but… I think with the lag, it might not save time for you. Who knows.

Your Eclipse time is 32 seconds, which is VERY excellent! Nice to see improvements over the various runs!

I’ve been trying to improve the run on my end, but I’m having a hard time… before I even make improvements on EOS, I need to match 24 seconds or less on Eclipse, and that’s proving to be very hard to replicate reliably.

its a really strange interaction, guns that are entirely splash do this (most notably, logans gun, torgue barrel ARs most RLs, ETC) stuff that you can regen rocket ammo with a sham, those guns.

ive been trying a new strat where i shoot EOS with pitchforks and maybe my badaboom, it does better than the luck cannons, but from my tests, it seems inconsistent. (I.E. either one mag of pitchfork to drain all shields and health of the phase, or three mags) :frowning:
EDIT: not as good as i thought. probably sticking to luck cannons.

Don’t worry about EOS; it’s much faster than my time already. However, the focus would be to reduce the Eclipse time, and I see lots of room for improvement there. In fact, even in my “unbeatable” 2:51 run, I managed today to get Eclipse down from 24 seconds to 22 seconds, a 2 second improvement! I’ll share the secret once I manage to perfect both Eclipse and EOS parts.

VERY nice improvement on your run, buddy! I like how you used everything that did insane DPS against Eclipse and pretty much removed all RNG element on the Eclipse portion except for how he moves (that bastard never moves the way you want to. I guarantee it)

Not really much to say about the EOS portion besides that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to match your EOS time.

yeah, that and swarmer spawns. im thinking about trying an all rockets strategy, its really risky, but I think it could work for a faster time. also, nisha cheeses EOS with just about any weapon.

I tried to remove the shield electrical pitchwork and his life with the corrosive Mongol with activated Skill kill but unfortunately I find that this method does not really work

You should give a try to Glitched Doc’s Quad. Charisxx had the fastest time with it against Eclipse.

yeah, the mongol isn’t as good as I thought. I used a badaboom for health.

I have given the jakobs build a try, and its REALLY reliant on RNG. my method is very consistent.

So you tried the badaboom corrosive to life and you failed to make better time that’s a shame he must have a combination of weapon all the way down very quickly I speak legitimately (no flakahab or no lady fist)
The first form is really the more resistant it is problematic for a performance

yeah, when you use the badaboom for his health, It generally takes two mags and it also requires you to reactivate your kill skill. ever time ive tried this strategy, I cant get the timing down right on the reload and kill skill, and my run goes down the drain.

No shoutout :cry:… jk, thanks for including my kill in your thread :grin:. See I told you and anyone else to beat my 2:33 time and you did, although you thought it was undo-able at first.

Anyway congrats on the kill! An awesome job well done. The offer still stands to beat my 38.5 sec time :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And who knows, maybe I’ll try a go at Nisha’s WR. So never stop trying to improve.

fine, you get a shoutout… :wink:
the problem is that nisha struggles hard on eclipse, while athena makes a mockery of him. the only advantage i had was that i was faster on his phases, but with this new mongol strat, thats not true anymore either. BTW, this run can be improved, because i had a pretty meh eclipse fight, my first rocket barrage did not connect with all the rockets, but whatever.

The weird thing is that you clear Eos in a stupidly fast time, I can’t help but notice you take significantly more time to kill Eclipse than Charrisx did with a simple flayer, so maybe going back to basics here would help lower your time even further, provided of course that your builds are similar enough for that. :dukeaffirmative:

IDK why i killed EOS so fast. i can improve the eclipse time, and i will work on that later.
