Not sure how I did this but each time I pressed for my loadout it disabled the HUD.

I actually had this happen to me last week too.
I accidentally taunted when trying to pull up my loadout and then I couldn’t get to my loadout again.

I see no problem with this. I’ve been wanting a way to disable the HUD for a while.

Maybe in a few years, which is what it took for Gbox to allow it in BL2 and PreSeq.
note: Community patch is great for both of those.
