In about 70% of the competitive games I have played, there has always been someone who has been disconnected. At least 1 person. usually 2 or 3.

As it stands there are no ramifications or ‘punishment’ for people leaving the game and I think that’s ruining the experience for everyone.

Some sort of system has to be implemented if gearbox is serious about the longevity of the game.

In the beta, people who left were unable to join any other games until the match-they-left finished. I don’t know if it still does that or not (since I never leave games I haven’t seen it).

I’ve only seen a single person leave so far out of about 10 matches.

I have a feeling that once actual ranked mode comes out there will be heavy punishments for leaving it without rejoining.

I personally make everyone quit by destroying them so I see alot of leavers, usually after surrender vote fails for them or at the start of the game.

Keep in mind that the competitive game-mode isn’t out yet, we’re just playing normal PVP matches that anyone can drop out of, such as is Casual matchmaking.

I guess it is circumstantial. My luck has been horrendous though… been losing momentum ever since that started happening.

I’m very glad to hear a competitive mode is incoming. Was unaware until I saw your comment.

I’m just voicing a few concerns because so far, it honestly has been feeling sub-par. I will give it a few more days though, I am really enjoying the game. I understand it’s still quite early into its cycle.

Thanks for the replies guys!
