I preordered the ps4 version of the CE months ago. I then preordered the CE version for Xbox One a couple of weeks ago because I realized a made a mistake when ordering the ps4 version.
Nevertheless, the super deluxe edition part of my order (loot chest and game are being shipped separately) just changed the status to “shipping”. So I expect it to arrive tomorrow the latest.
I live in Germany and ordered via Gamestop online store, by the way.
Thats a joke right? a huge Company like 2k didnt know 3 Days before Release when they will bring out the Keys? REALLY?
That sounds so stupid in my Opinion. This kind of Step in their Timeline should be fix at least a Month ago. They must heared of the Preload before we got the Info…
i Think they spend to much time/effort on the WWE Game and forgot about the Borderlands Hype.
And the worst i payed via Paypal (charged on the 06.06) and start Streaming 3 hours before Release…great
My hope is still that they will get their things together an we can preload tomorrow or at least on the 12th.
Yeah, it’s a very awkward situation. With a simple communication to the players/buyers it would resolve most of our concerns. I seriously hope they do that shortly.
so many People who payed per Credit card will jump off an buy it from Epic store, if i had payed with Credit, this step would be the first on Tomorrow afternoon…but i have to stick with it whatever they serve us
I pre - ordered on epic games store yesterday in the UK and downloaded the launcher. Have all the confirmation email receipts. The game shows in my library that`s all. From what I understand epic will send out redeem codes at midnight which is 48hrs pre - loading time before actual release. Well I hope this is true otherwise I have no idea where to find that activation code 
I actually dont want to buy from the Epci store because i dont want to pay their fees when i’m already paying 99€ for the super deluxe edition, so i have to wait for the code…
At least some communication would be nice.

Since your game has been ordered from the Epic Store and was added to your game Library, at least you have “Something” contrary to the others that pre-ordered from 2k/official borderlands website.
I don’t know how Epic game work but logically, in this context, the launcher/store should redeem the game itself and you should be able to pre-download the game when available. Of course, this could also be another missing feature of the Epic Store, the list is already exhaustive after all.
On a side note, putting all this money on a very large scale marketing campaign is a waste when customers have to deal with this major hype killer. Communication is key, the execution is everything.
Amazon which was stated for the 17th got moved earlier to the 13th. Is it because people started cancelling preorders? I don’t know, but at least 2k of all people should know something about their own shipping. Too late for me to cancel my preorder with them and get it from Amazon.
Anyone else able to check and see if they got their preorder money back? I don’t know if it’s temporary or what but 103$ was added back to my account and I’m 900% it was from the preorder. There isn’t any information on my bank page about it yet, and checking my status on 2k store still says the order has been placed. Guess I’ll have to wait and see but it’ll be lame if something not good happened.
Any update so far? I have ordered via 2k Store also.
No information or any key has been sent out so far.
Hope I’ll get the key when pre-loading is possible in Epic launcher.

My pals and I used Credit Cards, the money is not even taken yet which add up to the uncertainty.
One of the template that was sent to me by the 2k Store when I bring that up mentioned 1 or 2 weeks prior to the release, just another inaccurate reply.
Considering the pre-download, they have 6h as of now and no official statement on the situation. Disappointing.

Nope, card for me too, they took the money a week ago today. I never got the email to confirm it had shipped though that they said I would get when money was taken, now they gave me my money back with no explaination.
I’ll just order from amazon if I don’t get any info by tomorrow and I still have my money.
I guess I will cancel my order when I will be back home, bummer.
I ordered the super Deluxe last week, they charged my debit card immediately, PayPal purchase. today I received a reply from the 2k store support where they say "We show that your order is being processed for shipment and it will be
shipping soon. You will receive a separate notification email when your
order ships ". In the order page there’s nothing regarding any shipping information at all. I’m reading everywhere about people who cancel orders from various online stores and buy the version sold by Epic games store. almost seems like a mischievous marketing move.
the only update i got was that the status of the order went from “Order Submitted” to “Order in Process”. I did have a brief moment of hope on something cause i saw within the transactions i had, the thing i got popped up but nothing else after the time expired. I got the email with the order confirmation but thats it.
The only response I got from support was:
The product you ordered is a pre-order and has not yet been released to the public. Pre-Ordered products are shipped in advance. We cannot guarantee delivery on release date, but we make every effort for your purchase to arrive on or as close to the release date as possible.
then they said the thing of i’ll get an email notifying about shipment as soon as its on its way and the credit card wont be charged until the product ships.
well my only concern is not being notified about anything since April. its just 3 days away from launch and i havent had anything as far as updates go.
2K took my payment on Fri and gave it back today and the charge is gone as Well.
Was this for a digital or physical copy? So far it seems people get their money back if they ordered a physical copy, hm?
Yep same thing kinda. I bought the diamond loot box edition for pc. Website says nothing about my order. 2k support said wait and find out if I’m getting my code in my email or my box. Except my money came out right on pre order and it hasn’t been returned which is fine. Contemplating cancelling my pre order and buying the super deluxe as I’m tired of 2k’s ■■■■■■■■
