Well, the previous writers deserve some credit because my idea is just an effort to put together elements of this concept that are already present in the story and world-building they have already provided.
The other thing to consider is that they have gone through cycles of writers as some leave and move on, so they are at liberty to hire talent that have the imagination and skill to craft a narrative that uses the elements far better than I have. They are beholden to management and the desires of their investors, but they can find people capable of delivering on the potential I see (for better or worse depending on how you feel about multiverses and wish fulfillment) in the constituents of the story as it has been so far.
It doesn’t hurt that it’s public knowledge that this is what was planned with the Snyderverse, which cribbed some of their plot for Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Nether Realm did the same thing with their last three Mortal Kombat installments. Your mileage may vary, but I did enjoy Sliding Doors, About Time, Dr. Who, Ninja Turtles Forever, Inter the Spiderverse, Endgame, and Loki.
