I know that battleborn is mainly a moba fps, but will it still be playable offline? I have wifi only from time to time and want to know if I need to be online to play it or if I can play it offline. I love it so far but it would feel like a buzzkill if it’s online only

Wow…do hope this gets changed. I detest always having to be online for games now-a-days.

It probably won’t, but I agree it is super frustrating to not be able to play when my PS4 is refusing to connect to the wifi, or when I’m playing solo campaign but it’s still lagging up the wazzoo

I doubt it’ll get changed. Everything is saved server side, not client side, for the sake of keeping cheaters out of it.

I got the game over the weekend and my internet is the worst so im jumping everywhere and hitting walls and i hope gearbox will add an offline mode if you are like me with bad internet the dont buy it its nearly unplayable
They can’t do this because there is progress and gear you get in pve that carries over to pvp, so if you could log in offline, you could cheat.
Unless they make it explicit that offline PvE grants no progress or loot, like private PvP bot matches.
But I think if you had access to command, you could still mess with stuff.
