One hit FFYL Compendium against 1 hp

I use the transformer on my moze and just don’t give a fck about going down. I go down by myself in 8 of 10 cases so I stopped bothering about survivability long time ago. I rather focus on full damage then a mix of damage and defence. Nothing can protect my IB from his hits. Nothing can protect me from my explosions, nothing can protect me from M10 barrels… Ever reloaded the beacon in the slaughter?

So I don’t give a fck about shields. I use them only for the annointments on them but seriously I don’t need them.

Then you should probably be using an old god or an amp shield.

You misunderstood me. It doesn’t tickle me if I go into FFYL. Guardian takedown bosses have all minions where I can easy stand up. The first boss I even don’t go away from the explosion and stay always in the middle. By the time he comes back also a few enemies spawn so I can go back into fight. Trying to avoid the explosion led more than once in a dead. Stupid but dying on the plattform on purpose is much saver than trying to avoid the explosion.

I forget when I died the last time because of the enemies. Mostly post mortem kills me while looting. Going into FFYL is 80% because of my own splash damage or barrels. I can easy spam cmds which gives me life + 25% damage.

I decided that I don’t really need a shield since I can throw a few granades every few seconds when I want to rush through something.

No I got you. Those shields increase damage, not Defense.

Maybe if I find one by random. Haven’t farmed shields since they raised the cap to 53 lol.

You could… But I don’t see enough of an increase in DPS when using a Frontloader and Pearl. It does allow you to try out different artifacts. I use an Old God Shield with my builds to help increase DPS output depending on the element on your gun. Also of note: I use Holy Crit as one of my Mayhem Modifiers.

I don’t think that a damage increase of 10% would make a visible diffrence in that game. I have really trouble to see differences in damage if it’s not obvious. Sometimes even testing things is impossible… You shoot one bullet and see a huge explosion of numbers. Wish we had something like recount from wow.

10% from where? The Old God adds 20% elemental damage depend g on what element, and holy crit adds 25% to crit hits. Combined with a COM that adds 58% Jakobs critical hits, 20% weapon damage, and 20% shotgun damage (that’s what I’m currently using), it’s a pretty potent combination for any VH.

Of course, these are all added to the base damage of the gun.

Elemental Damage, Crits, Weapon Damage and Weapon Type Damage are all different multipliers, none of them are added to the base damage. The “Shield Break Amp” anointment is an example of adding to the base damage.

Pearl should be best-in-slot for damage on URad Moze builds. Not noticing much of a damage difference would depend on the tier of content being cleared and probably the amount of Skag Den, since that currently makes URad itself almost irrelevant in its contribution to damage.

I thought they were based off the base damage and then added to the base, not stacked. The Elemental ASE for grenade mods and shields is added to the overall damage, from what I remember reading.

It was just an example of how hard it is to notice damage buffs like 10%. If you switch one gear and than suddenly do 50% damage you may realize it but 10% is not noticeable.

It’s just hard to see if your 40% smg damage makes more sense than 30% splash damage without calculations.

That’s true… So I try to max out as much as I can. 63 points is a lot to play with, that’s for sure.
