Best advice if you hit bad RNG is do something else if he doesn’t drop one pump chump, and try again later.
Thanks man! Yeah, the Maggie is awesome! I have a bunch of good anointed Maggies. I’m using one with the critical hit terror anoint and it’s insane. Have a 300%PS as well, which I found on the way to One-Pump believe it or not, but I use phasegrasp mostly. I’m also running a max damage 100% weapon damage after action skill one-pump. It’s probably better for my build than the 300% PS one, but I had my mind set on one of those from the start, so I kinda want to have one just to have it. 
A good Terror anoint wouldn’t be bad either.

When I get frustrated with a farm I move onto a new one and come back to that one.
I can’t kill someone 50 times and not loose my mind. Thats why I loved runs like the Dust, I could farm for 8 things in one run and make it less tedious to me.

i feel ya, i too can’t farm one thing over and over for a long period of time. i usually just do every boss and end with a slaughter house during my sessions. takes a longer time sure, but it’s helluva lot less repetitive !
the dust farm were great, i hope they add more maps like that in the future… athena is great because of this too. feels more of a dungeon run than anything to me because of the 2 mini bosses

I know that farming sometimes can be overwhelming because I farm in BL1 Ajax for Ogre hybrid.
Was farming him for 4 months and finally he drop it, but that wasn’t only think that I did.
I took breaks from farming just him.

For me it dropped already on m1 after killing him around 15 times. However I must say it’s really not worth the grind. I will take a butcher’s shotgun anytime over that one.
Good Lord when I first discovered the shortcut up the cliff I almost cried. One of the best farms in BL2 for one of the best sniper rifles.

Yeah i’m not a big fan of phaseslam either tbh. Only reason i’m running it is because of the annointments. Really wish they would make it so the variations got the buffs too. I much prefer Fracture if i’m going that route.
And yeah the 100% annointments are great. Hoping to find a Stagecoach with max pellets with that one.

That really was a horrible farm. Idk how many times i killed him before i got an AR version. The one i finally got was small on the mag size and not a great reload time but it was worth it lol. But yeah that was a terrible farm

Man, that would be awesome indeed. I do have a couple of stagecoaches, including an extra projectile terror one I want to try, but I don’t think I have one of those yet.
Ah, the good old Ajax Ogre farm… I think I have more than 1500 hours in BL1, but I’ve never seen one drop from him.
Oh man I love de stagecoach.
Gives me old school doom vibes.

You are either really unlucky or not being truthful. It took me maybe 30 minutes to get a half a dozen of these things. I would guess the drop rate is somewhere between 1/3 and 1/5.

funny thing, went for killavolt today and swung by one punch because i had just read this thread. not only did it drop, but it were annointed with 125% vs badass ASE 
it’s just my luck, when i don’t farm for something - it drops!

I farmed him about 30x so far and have got 4 sleeping giants. Could gearbox changed the loot drop from 1 punch chump? Anyone else tried this farm lately?
Yeah, I’m getting them too. I’ve farmed him around 25 times so far and has only dropped sleeping giants for me both without Mayhem activates and with Mayhem activated. It’s either really bad RNG or it’s because it could be a Mayhem 4 exclusive now
*5 minutes later, gets it without Mayhem mode on.
