yeah it’s what I found myself doing when I tried M4. Bit of a pain to have to keep collecting then discarding tbh but it did save my life more than once
I never knew that. I always thought that you pick up a weapon empty. You can never have to much boom.
Kinda wish ammo regen would put ammo back into the pool once the mag was full. Only thing that does this is the cutpurse.
Would be nice if we had sdu buffs on relics as we did in bl2
Anytime I hear this complaint I think it must be a build or a skill problem.
Snipers I can understand, if rocket ammo is an issue that’s a personal issue but any other gun has more than enough ammo in it’s reservation.
Yeah I use things like the flood but I have the right anointments and builds befire I use them no terror btw
Awwwwwwwww, now I know why I’m getting launcher ammo when I don’t open a box…thanks for the tip.
It’s my main gripe with what GB did with the last patch where they nuked my Ion Cannon. Used to be I had no issue using the weapon, loved it in fact, but with the nerf it’s pretty much a pile of crap to me.
Just had to give up on epic battle against the scholar guy at the end of dustbound archives on m4 cos maxed out all ammo on all weapons (even resorted to using an assault rifle). This can’t be right to lose cos no ammo boxes or enemies have become bullet sponges. Some comments have noted running out of ammo early on in game, I too encountered this but had option to switch weapons. At the same time a buff to ammo at start of game and subsequent sud buys seems a reasonable solution
With the M10 bullet sponginess you pretty much have to find a way to regen ammo. And the only way to consistently do this is with a cutpurse. Any ammo regen skills or perks only refill the mag and not the ammo pool like they did in BL2.
Only non fl4ks and non mozes run out of ammo
They probably meant:
- a Pestilence
- a corrosive or incendiary Linoge with 50% bonus radiation damage on action skill end
- a corrosive or incendiary Linoge with 150% bonus radiation damage when under 50% health
Maybe. I know that the spreadsheet for loot said Radiation was possible as an element on a Linoge for quite some time. That should be fixed now.
Point is, shouldn’t need mod to cover ammo. Game a joke now, other elements of mayhem are broke aswell (floor is lava, don’t stand still to pick up item or open crate or you’ll die). Ultimate vault hunter mode on bl2 worked fine, was challenging and still fun. They’ve tried to do too much and be wacky to appeal to immature internet
BTW, just had to quit out of battle with wendigo because of lack of ammo/ crates (joke, that’s not funny)
Keep your finger off the trigger when using a Pew Pew!
Is this still on M4? Seems a bit weird to me that you’re running out of ammo given all the chests on the way to the fight. You do stop and raid containers along the way, yes? (I do because I’m a compulsive looter when it comes to video games. Real life, not so much!)
Yes, fully loaded before enter arena, vendor not far away but I quit with him at half health after tediously long fight of him sponging all my bullets. A buff to damage (on both sides) rather than health would’ve made contests more intense
Yay, there is “a” relic to manage those. That’s not a horribly helpful answer and the cutpurse is a suboptimal solution in, as he mentions, an MP environment when you can not just hot swap easily between a generally useful relic and the very specific cutpurse function.
The problem is that the ammo amounts for ARs and SMGs are relatively easy to “balance” because they are all high ROF weapons.
That isn’t true with shotguns and snipers where the difference between a Jakobs weapon in those classes and a Lyuda, Sandhawk or Butcher is massive.
I can for example, clear Athenas with just an SMG and only reload from ammo drops, no chests no vending machines. I can’t come close to doing that with a shotguns or snipers. I know the goal is to have you swap weapons and types but the current limits don’t really enforce that for some weapons types but do for others. I get the theory is the shotguns/snipers are sooooo powerful You don’t need 10 bullets to do the job but that really isn’t true and for the pray and spray weapons in those classes it is damn near impossible to modulate ammo use.
