To borrow from Crunk Bunny - my PC is now running in crash-tastic form.

Whereas I’d maybe have one crash during my 8-10 hours playing. Today after hotfix, can’t get more than a few minutes without crashing, JUST WHILE WALKING <- W.T.F.?

Then Mr. Torgue whispered in my ear and said:
“TRY DX-12, HOW BAD COULD IT BE?”
Welp, a whole lot worse - crashed my stream and then basically had to reboot, launch in DX12 and then reset it back DX11.

While I’m liking the changes, including the nerfs…

same here. Not a single crash in the last 2 weeks, but ssince today’s hotfix I already had 3 crashes

So I rebooted, verified and then reset pretty much everything back to default settings.

Just did a Rare chest run through Pandora -> Promethea -> Skywell-27 and no crash or hicup. Was about 40 minutes and I’m still going. Going to run through the vault again and will report back

Same. Put in hours and hours of play then outta nowhere it freezes every…single…time…an enemy is about to die. I think it has something to do with them disabling Hollow Point guardian rank. Its right as the enemy has a sliver of health left …i shoot the final shot…FREEZE…for 30 seconds every time. Unreal. Zero idea how to fix this. I tried literally every method

all the same…but when Im with a group i get the Network notification thingy in top left of screen as soon as the shooting starts then it ultimately boots me bc of " connection " which is bs bc its been fine for dozens of hours and my internet is pretty much flawless most times.

At a loss…

So here’s a recap of what I’ve done and it maybe helped???
EGS: Verify
Reboot PC
Launch BL3 -> reset defaults where ever I could, controls, video, etc
Quit to save settings
Launch BL3 -> Reconfigure like 3 keys for my controls (Q, C, V and mouse 4)
I’ve set Visual to High and turned off fog
Just played for about 90 minutes and no hiccups

Fingers crossed and HTH
Note: before all this as I mentioned I tried DX-12 and then switched back and followed this process

Its most likely over exceeding the guardian rank so people whose over guardian rank 1000 will crash instant right before the enemy dies

CMy GR is less than 50, so no issue here.

UPDATE: I unplugged my Xbox (usb) controller and haven’t crashed yet, since all the troubles I had yesterday. Just played for 75 minutes w/wife, switched characters and all good.

You have to be over max guardian rank it would freeze the game

Yeah same here. 2 Weeks without problems no crashes not even in a 20hours session.
After Patch/Hotfix, two crashes :frowning:
