His cloak would be better if they made it an active ability with a similar animation to Galilea’s Abyssal Form and allowed him to be cloaked while seen and moved the Injection ability to his passive and tone down the DoT it would do.

I still don’t think you understand how the skill works, let me illustrate it more plainly:

Pendles is standing in front of Oscar Mike, in full sight. He steps to the side, behind a rock, which hides him from Oscar Mike’s sight. This causes his stealth to activate. He then steps out from behind the rock, and is in front of Oscar Mike again, still stealthed. He will stay this way until he uses a skill or attacks. For his stealth to activate again after this, he has to either go behind the rock again, or use Smoke Bomb.

Thanks to @VaultHunter101, the Pendles page on the wiki now has all of his icons. I’ll update the page and unlock it after we get more information. I’m looking forward to what the sneky snek in snekkers can do, but not necessarily by playing against him… :dukeohnoes:

I would add that we don’t yet know if there is any sort of duration for his invisibility or if he just stays cloaked indefinitely. Otherwise this is as good an explanation as your gonna get for those who aren’t understanding.

Whilst it will be awesome to have a new character on the scene I can’t help but feel apprehensive purely due to the effects Alani had on the game when she launched.

The stealth as a passive would presumably act as other passives such as Ambras flame shield and have a cooldown in addition to a limited duration leading to the need for smoke bomb to act as an escape.

Secondly, it is entirely possible that he will be revealed the moment he enters a players LOS regardless of if he used a skill/attacked as he requires to be out of sight to cloak and is revealed in sight it makes sense and gives the added movement speed a purpose too. (I’m assuming this is the same point you reveal others on the mini map Pendles will pop up).

Finally, the wound on his ultimate im guessing is on activation only otherwise we may run into another desecrate mess haha.

All in all, excited but feel like the numbers given in the helix are a bit high when thinking of launch Alani (if they are accurate that is) haha and the super slow oh poor Attikus (gets a super slow on his ultimate where others get it on a skill haha).

Too bad they announced release dates and all that. It would have worked so well to his character if they just suddenly said he’s out today (on the release date) for early access because he was so sstealthy the marketing team totally failed to ssee him coming. :sunglasses:

I have a feeling his legendary is going to be a pair of boots/sneakers (mainly because the devs have played up his sneakers several times) but I think it would be hilarious if it were a battery or shield generator that references a cardboard box somehow (either with fluff text like “Aww… I was hoping for a cardboard box” or a name like “Corrugated Organic Stealth Apparatus”).

A cardboard skin would be awesome. Pendles already has a pretty edgy…angular look, so I guess you could make a skin (700 platinum) that looks like he is made out of cardboard.

I hope we get a Stone-Scaled Skin for Pendles as a nod to Medusa. Gorgon love is best love.

Also Pendles’ Helix seems a bit uninspired considering his abilities, passives an talent. “increase damage” and “reduce Cooldown” are very bland things that 90% of characters have/do. I wish there were more things like Galilea’s Laser Sword upgrade which COMPLETELY changes the way a character plays.

That’s still not to say that Pendles will be boring or anything, just that I think there are some missed opportunities. Still hype to play as Snek.
