:frowning: I just noticed Energizer Puppy has a new thing – running up when she sees me, then going carpet shark. I should note, this seems to be mixing into her doing the Walker-vs-Snowspeeder thing…

I now have 2 Bearded Dragons, a Chinese Water Dragon, a Vampire Crab, and a Brazilian Black Wooly Tarantula. Plus my feeder roaches colony, and various other live prey.

yep. They’re about as high maintenance as a hermit crab.

That vampire crab looks dope, can you keep other stuff in the tank with it?

As promised, here’s more pics of the handsome one. He’s already made himself right at home, Steele on the other hand… Well, let’s just say I think I’m out of the Crimson Lance for the time being.

You can. They’re fairly sociable. Shrimp and larger snails are fine. Avoid fish since they may eat, or be eaten, by the crab. Same with small snails, likely to be eaten.

Interesting side note, these have been in the pet industry for about a decade, and only recently has science found where they come from and that they are in fact new species. There’s the purple, and an orange version.

English cat vs Irish lit

Cat seems to be winning.

Cat seems to be saying “I thoroughly disapprove of your choice of reading material” Either that, or “You should be feeding me. Now.”

My tubby lil pork sausage. Had to take her to the vet yesterday because one eye was swollen shut and weeping horribly. Turns out she had a grass seed stuck under her eyelid. Makes me sad because her favourite thing to do is have a roll on the grass in her brief expeditions into the garden with me in the afternoon. Now imma be paranoid about it :joy:

Omg look at that belly :joy:
Poor wee babe!! That must’ve been so uncomfortable to have in her eye. Glad it was nothing serious though.

Do vet visits cost an arm and a leg there like they do here? I just had to take my wee little Smokey Bones last week and it wrecked my bank account by $1,000.
This little monster better be glad I love her…

Depends on the procedure. I tend to do most things myself, like i had one kitten get a botfly larvae in her neck I removed. But for my big alpha male, when he needed his pus filled neck wound drained and treated, that cost me $200.
And now I only have things with scales or exoskeletons.
The newest addition.
