Anyone noticed weird boxes knocking about like ammo boxes, heavily pixlated different colours, mostly see one in digistruct peak,

You sometimes get ammo boxes etc. glowing in some weird colour (bright green, purple, red, etc.) due to texture issues. Is that what you mean?

Yeah I was thinking they were something special but every time I opened them there wasn’t anything special in there,just ammo, cheers, was just curious while having brain melt down from farming flying shock sandhawk, getting really annoyed now, :frowning:

Take a break - leave that mission not turned in, and go do something completely different like hunt for LLMs/tubbies/chubbies, or just spend some time running over skaggs with a technical.

Would it help if I dropped the lv 53 one I have or does it not make one bit of difference, but your advice sounds goodo.

Doesn’t make any difference at all. For any mission reward that does not have completely fixed parts, the RNG rolls and you get the results. Looks like non-elemental versions of things like the Sandhawk, Rubi, etc. are more common than elemental, and then you get down to individual prefix etc. It’s all based on RNG and look-up tables; your current character, gear, etc. doesn’t factor in to that calculation.

Haha that’s why I love this game it makes you work for what you want, then surprises you in your darkest hour with something awesome or ridicules you some more. Cheers dude you are a wealth of knowledge,

Its even worse when you want a particular one. The game uses AI that channels into your brain using sweat pulses from the controller then gibs you for hours!! :smile: I once got a perfect Corrosive Pimpernel on the first try, and it was what I wanted. I literally shat my pants hahahahahhaah. I know your pain. I tried for a slag Rubi for somewhere in the region of 6-7hours once. Crazy addiction!

I have had that happen every once in a while since the first time I played BL2. I have seen ice balls in red, and blue, weapon chests in bright green. It’s kind of cool. I think it’s just a minor graphics glitch.

Hahaha I first thought they were some cool magic boxes, so ran up to them excited to find normal stuff in there, weirdest thing is I didn’t learn from first experience so continued to keep opening them in hope there was something cool inside. Sadly not. And it’s definitely a crazy addiction, in fact I can’t remember any other game holding my attention for so long, even when I get bored i can just run around and the crazy dialogue just cracks me up. :smiley:

Me too. The first time I got one was a ice ball that happened to have the first piece of Eridium I got in the game. I thought that was why it was glowing red.

Not just there, and in freaky colors. I remember seeing quite a few ammo boxes in neon pink or acid green.
