Since mayhem 2.0, I found that I’m jumping on mayhem 10 to farm items grab xp and cash then jumping back to m5/6 to actually play missions and slaughters…

I’m not enjoying the game normally on mayhem 10.

Anyone else doing this ?

That s my plan for all non meta builds. I ll replace weapons with mayhem 10 versions collected with my meta Zane and adjust mayhem depending on build performance.

I’d play Mayhem 6 with matching mayhem-level gear and Mayhem 7 with Mayhem 10 gear (excluding the ridiculously strong weapons like the Yellowcake or Sandhawk). I’d also try to roll the least intrusive Mayhem modifier combination and go from there. If it is a particularly strong build I may give it a whack on M8.

I not much time to play last couple of days but I only need 3 of the new items on m10 and done 2 runs at the villa, later on I’ll be going going on to farm the hydrafrost and a cryo faiser with shotgun alt firing mode,

Then dropping down a few mayhem levels to finishing some missions on promethia to try them out…

I’m finding that I can’t play on mayhem 10 for more than about 30-60 minutes at a time, it’s just too frustrating for all the wrong reasons:

Too much visual clutter, particularly from the rocket spam anointed and the cryo orbs.

Immunity spamming militants, ffs give these a cooldown on their abilities, they just switch between shield and nova and remain immune for most of the fight. It’s just broken and unfunny.

Running out of ammo on every mob pack because of Cartel reinforcements, tone it down it’s OTT

Mostly staying on M8 right now. It’s only got 2 modifiers and the difficulty is still manageable and at the same time, you aren’t locked out from any drops.
I’d say it’s kind of the new M4.

M8 is the best IMO, at 7500% health it is still a challenge but way less demanding on modifiers lol

M8 seems to be a good comprise it’s the poor xp and cash rewards that frustrate me on top of everything else,

I never considered they would nerf it that way :frowning:

Pretty much my current plan. I was hanging around M7, but may go to M8 for everyday use (actual missions, etc) if enough weapons are still viable.
I don’t want to be limited to the M10 Meta weapons (Yellowcake, Sandhawk OPQ, etc)
Went to M10 just for farming.
