You’re being unreasonable. If turrets and sentries targeted him regardless, that’d make him useless. I could understand if he damaged it first, but turrets and sentries stop aggroing other characters when they go stealth because that’s the point of it.
Backdooring isn’t bad for the game. Your attitude is.

I think he should def unlock when buying build-ables…
It’s also strange that accelerators and supply stations effect him while cloaked, yet not turrets, etc. Should be consistent with all build-ables.
Are you sure you’d be happy if it were consistent with all buildables? By consistent I assume you mean turrets should also detect him while cloaked. What if they made it consistent by making accelerators not slow/speed him and supply stations couldn’t heal him while cloaked. That would be 100% consistent. Would you be happy with that change?
Yeah, I think it should be consistent across all of them honestly…If turrets don’t target him than neither should accelerators or supply stations. Only makes sense IMO.
I’m not even saying turrets shouldn’t target him…I’m just saying whatever it is make it consistent across all of them.
I mean if you are thinking technically supply stations and accelerators don’t target they are an area effect type thing since they affect multiple people at once where as the turrents can only affect 1 person at a time since they target them. And I think the accelerators do slow him if he is near the enemy ones but I’m not sure. Just saying that I think the only reason the turrets don’t target him is because since they need to “see” the target to shoot it. Although I would hope the shock turret would accidentally arc to him sometimes because well it’s sorta shooting indiscriminately with its arc.
You’re correct. Friendly accelerators speed him, enemy accelerators slow him and shock turrets will arc to him, even while cloaked.
over a 90 pct win percentage across all characters. not trying to be arrogant, but it is the truth.
if you are pushed into your choke, fight out. if you cant fight out, you arent as good as teh team you cant fight out against, or you chose a bad composition. either way, that team earned their position. im not referring to someone taking out a thumper when their team is pushed up. that is the point of the game. but running behind people and diving their sentry is garbo. if you seriously make your decisions based on whether something is “in the game” and that is your only consideration, that is kin of sad

In competitive games, or pugs vs premades? Just curious, since you felt the need to bring it up.
pvt matches dont track your stats. anyone with good or bad stats has the exact same excuse: none. we all are only tracked in our pubs. but for what its worth, my team finished 3rd in n america on xb1 in the last tournament, and only lost to the team that literally nobody can beat

so…you’re using your won loss record as evidence of…what precisely?
something very valuable: the insight of someone who isnt struggling going against anything. its pretty common to see bad players complain about things that have nothing inherently broken about them. but when someone who doesnt lose has something to say in regards to balance, you might do well to listen

So base on your argumentation, people should listen about the pendles ajustment cause with a 80%with ratio.
Anyway, this thread of going off track
more I play Pendles, more I think they should make smoke bomb with a invisible timer so the player to into cover(try) to reach his regular invisibility.

that would actually be an interesting aolution an excellent idea
it was over 90 pct, but yes. what experience matters the most? someone who loses all the time? someone who goes 50/50? anyway, i dont understand what you mean about the timer. do you mean that once he uses his smoke bomb that his invis could expire if he didnt find cover quickly? i would support that 100 pct. really any change to the character would be great at this point

Sorry for my English,
Yes, about his smoke bomb could expire his invisibility until he find ‘cover/line of sight’.

perhaps your experience doesn’t add any weight to your ideas besides the value of the idea you speak? please understand i’m not arguing your idea itself at the moment(even if I think your views that you insist on speaking seem incredibly narrow minded), merely your trying to add weight to your idea by introducing evidence that has nothing to do with your idea directly

Pendles’ damage and stealth are excellent, yeah, but the stealth-distortion from him is, to me, a LOT more visible than, say, Oscar Mike or Shayne & Aurox’s. I’ve only ever missed him when I’ve been distracted; if I’m not busy fighting someone else I can see him coming before he pops, most of the time.
However I do agree that the sentries and/or L3 turrets should reveal or at least be able to track and shoot stealthed enemies.

I don’t think backdooring is at all a problem and is actually a really cool aspect of the game. The fact Pendles is the only melee character who can effectively do it is also cool. Keep Pendles unique
You keep saying that they didn’t earn it, but they clearly did. You have to defend the objective as well as attack. That’s how objective-based games work.

we have already been down this road. we are talking about two entirely different things. if you backdoor, you didnt earn that map position. the only way to earn it is to push the minions and players back.
