Player Kicking during Co-op Campain

Hello there, So I jumped into the Campaign with a friend and two random people on the Algorithm and 3 of us made it to the drill but our fourth player went afk. We waited somewhere around 10 minutes before the game kicked him out and adjusted the pads we have to stand on to continue. I would just like either for the game itself to manage this better or give the players the power to handle it by kicking. Both myself and my friend looked for such a function and didn’t see one but we still could have missed it as well.

Thanks.

Almost had the same problem from a new player who didn’t know he had to stand on the platform to boost the character over in the 2nd storyline and was busy doing other stuff… Fortunately after about 5 minutes he finally woke up and stood there but a kick function may be useful so that players will not be at the mercy of someone trolling. That being said remember you can click r3 to highlight or mark points or targets

Ya, we tried. The player in this case was standing still with no response.

Player kicking can lead to trolling like it happens in The Division, being kicked right before the last boss dies. Perhaps a shorter afk time out kick would be better. 1-2 mins maybe?

I agree, that should be the first option. I had the happen again. But two other players quit before the afk player was kicked. Leaving me alone playing Rath against Geoff.

I also agree with the kicking, especially because of the pads that all of the players need to stand on to proceed. I got grouped up with 2 players and a troll. On the portion of “The Void’s Edge” mission where every player has to stand on the pads to launch one player up to deactivate the shield blocking the wolf drone, he didn’t stand on a pad, but just right next to it while taunting continuously as we told him to stand on it. Luckily I was Benedict, and after about 5 minutes of us shouting at this guy, I realized I could just fly up there. Later on in the same mission though, to trigger the boss fight, every player must stand on a plate. We all stood where we needed to, but he just wandered around, taunted, and stood right next to the plate without stepping on it. We waited for about 10 minutes for him to cooperate until we just quit. I definitely think that VKing should be an option.
