Heya’s, is there any plans to increase the maximum player level up from 100? Not that it’s a big issue, but I think it would help to keep people interested and playing. You could offer loot or helix % upgrades or new nick name’s to help maintain player interest. Silly I know but if you don’t ask, you don’t get!!

This is far from silly, in fact it’s a pretty common request around here and some are confident tjat some form of over-leveling will be introduced eventually due to the frequency and quantity if these requests as well as a well known previous example by Gearbox in Borderlands 2, Overpower Levels.
A lot of people are asking for this. I hope it’s implemented soon. But I don’t think helix upgrades would be fair. I do hope they add one or two more mutations in a future update (I WOULD LOVE THAT).
If they even just restarted the cr to lvl 1 I should have been 100 again by now lol. We do really need something extra though
Yeah, a lot of us have been asking for something for a long time because of exactly what you say. My preference would be that command XP gets converted to character XP at a 50% rate (10 command XP becomes 5 character XP) or something like that.
It just doesn’t make sense for most of the kill 5000 of X enemy challenges that give 500 command XP because by the time you grind your way to that, you would be L100. It’s strange the various math wizard programmers at GBX didn’t predict that one.
I would actually prefer it not to go to character exp currently. I like the pace that it takes to get to level 15. I feel a lot less inclined to play a character once they are level 15 and mastered
Now that I think about it, I would just be happy to gain levels rather than gain anything. The ticking up of player level would be enough reward for me with the games balance in mind. Maybe the odd loot pack now and then, but increasing player rank would at least give other players a visible sign of the time spent playing instead of being stuck on 100.
