Yeah, I agree with what you said about that last bit.
The stuff that you said in the 2nd paragraph was exactly what I am trying to talk about in this topic. I just didn’t know how to type it out in words so thank you.
I don’t think you need to be too worried because every character they’ve nerfed so far is still decent. No one’s really been over nerfed yet.
I would advocate for her extrended knock up vs players on her gayser to be removed. It’s too brutal.
Agreed.
If you ask me the health part was good but a little less dmg or movement speed buff time or even a second off of the bubble stun would be amazing chars like melka who for the first 4 levels get destroyed and have to get their XP from building and hopefully a couple minion kills and assists and are pretty slow when skills aren’t off cool down making them like the easiest targets in the game even more so than no shield tanks.
the actual player stun bit on her geyser is only a second long to begin with. also a good melka can run circles around alani, even at start
For me, Mellka’s two most important skills are levels 1 and 2, so the start really isn’t that bad.
lol, you’re a funny guy. Ambra would like a word with you.
Ambra is still one of the hardest characters in the game to kill
Hardest to kill =/= good/balanced.
She does almost no damage, must be in melee range for all attacks. Worst support ability in the game. Was massively nerfed 3 times and nerfed again recently that was unneeded. She went from massively OP to pretty much pointless. Low damage and non existent support abilities compared to other support classes.
You make some good points. What I think they should do to her is increase the healing she does to other players but not herself. This would make her a more viable support but wouldn’t make her too crazy hard to kill like jacking up her healing would. I think it would end up making her an almost tanky support that could hold her own against most other characters if they got too aggressive.
That said, I don’t really foresee this happening to Alani because the reason it happened to Ambra was that she was kind of a complicated case between balancing her actual support and her survivability. With Alani, I feel like it’s much more an issue of how much should she be able to heal and how much damage should she be able to do, so I don’t think trying to balance one aspect of her will have any unintended consequences. Gearbox also said that they have a big solution coming for healers in general. I’m really curious as to what it is, but if it’s a big change rather than just adjusting some numbers, I think it will be tailored very well to how the game is turning out right now, which suggests good things.
Alani got a huge nerf not too long ago. The people who complain are now probably moving on to the next character they think is OP and say NERF NERF NERF! Next thing we might expect to see is Pendles getting nerfed one day down back where he came from…
Still waiting for high attack speed, aoe stunning, machine gun punchinh el dragon to get smack with the nerf ruler.
I have no intentions of even using Pendles when he’s released. Melee characters seems to be safe from the nerf hammer so I’ll go that route with everyone else most likely.
What about Galilea though? She is a melee character and got nerfed a few times.
Even a lot of people who main Gal (I’ve only used her twice) still say she’s OP.
You think she might get nerfed more?
I just saw an Alani who cheated so her Bubble always hit perfectly no matter what and she hit 99% of all her attacks the only she missed was when we were behind walls and she kept shooting towards and would probably hit with no wall, so is there soon coming something to report these things, 100% bubble hits, 100% attack hits, heals shitloads because she hits everytime no matter what and could keep her entire team up to 100% all the time with no problems, it’s not fun when people cheat to win.
Also Alani is in a good spot now, not too strong (unless blatantly cheating) not too weak she don’t need more nerfs at all.
Would that be a problem? New character often need adjusting after release. If a nerf is needed it should be nerfed.
