The stats shown are your player kills killing sprees and double kills triple kills etc. so why incorporate pve downs into the deaths? It makes zero sense

Really odd they aren’t tracked separately. I bet they actually have separate data and could break it out.

It is a bit annoying, kind of stops me being interested in the statistics. I often start PvE games solo or with a mate but get an invite to another game so I commit suicide to keep the xp… so it creates a skewed picture.
What’s worse is it’s not re spawns it’s downs and we’ve all been in that situation where your friend goes to revive you and you get killed again instantly

Yeah. I personally quite like having a counter for it (because it just makes me laugh how many times I have to be revived despite many hours in-game) but it would be good if it was completely separate from PvP. That might make a better matchmaking feasible too.
Gearbox!
Stop counting my PvP deaths when I’m drunk!

Yeah, this irritates me quite a bit. I find myself having to remember roughly how many PvE deaths (~200?) I’ve had to subtract it from the count.
Yeah it’s a bit stupid, those with lesser thumbskill will claim it’s because battleborn isn’t a k/d ratio game, but it clearly is. Why even bother to glorify doubles, triples, sprees, etc. Killing is the main fun and focus across all modes, the objective changes but the players don’t.
Those of us who would like to track our progress and improvement would certainly appreciate seeing a proper k/d ratio.
The only way around it is to pick a character you’ve never played PVE with and start a PVP career there, sucks but whatever.
I still feel like it isn’t, but that’s simply what incentivises the game for people so ignoring that would be unhelpful. And I have decent thumb skill. Like I average 20ish kills with Phoebs (still can’t play El though lol).

Wow, I didn’t know that. You know how much I die in PvE!? I only play on Advanced and I use PvE as a training ground to learn about new characters so that Im not completely clueless when I bring them over to PvP.

I hate how it counts downs though I’d be fine with it counting re spawns but Counting downs is just stupid. It’s easy for skulks to one hit you back into death after getting picked up its ridiculous
Come to think of it, why did they even bother to track your PVE deaths to begin with?

It makes zero sense though every other stat in that section is pvp stats and then pve downs are included in there. @JoeKGBX is this a bug or intended functionality?
It also makes your PVE characters look like complete garbage, because apparently my kd as Marquis is 3-150, despite having played only 2 matches but well over 100 missions.
It’s just silly and completely unnecessary, I hate having my stats tainted, that’s why I chose a few characters to ONLY play PVP with, like El Dragon and Benedict, so that I could sort of get a little idea of what an actual kd would’ve been for me.
But no, let’s have player kills, doubles, triples, quads, pentas, longest spree, assists, AND!.. PVE/PVP deaths?..
Ok.
