Even though this is meta, some real thought went into this set (standard VGC, not mine). Adamant nature gives you attack as your highest stat, so it gets boosted when you get a KO. Higher defense means when Porygons come in they get an attack raise instead of Special Attack (though they have started running return now) and recovery is insane with leech seed and leftovers

I just completed my set of power items, and they help so much. With the power item and chaining your EV grind pokemon, you can fully train a stat in a little under 20 KO’d pokemon.

It’s a bit of a pain that you have to get the power items through the battle facilities… y’know, part of the reason you need those items in the first place.

It’s ass backwards, but not the first case in the series I’d imagine. Do need those items. I’m happy where Mawile is now after 2 and a half days. But it’s not a process I want to repeat in that way…

I get that everybody rightfully trashes on Midnight form, but when I took it for a spin in the Battle Tree on a lark it did a solid job of getting me to beating Red in Standard Singles.

It’s still much worse than Midday, but yeah… I dunno. Don’t really have a point here, apart from defending Midnight just a little bit.

Oh well.

Midnight Form really falls flat compared to Midday, let alone my Archeops.

Well, Mawile is lvl50, and outdamages Archeops, who’s 23 levels higher with max EV’s in attack (300 w/ ability and mega evolve compared to 278). That said, the new typing and Mega evolution helped alot to make this Mon good.
